Hi i know this is weird but when ever i use ics to hook my laptop up to the net as i dont have home internet yet because i just moved in. It makes the front casing feel like its got power running through it and if i get a call while its connected to to the computer i can get shocks through my ear. i have tryed 4 differnt cables and all the usb ports on the laptop.

Any ideas?

Any one else had this problem?

Your laptop's power adapter most likely isn't earthed, and there's a stray voltage on all your laptop's ground connections.

but how come when im not using ics i don't get shocked that is what's weirding me out as its only when im running that. if im just connected by active sync and have a data connection active its fine no shocking.

Maybe the stray voltages are being induced when the radio is actively transmitting then...

VJ,

I've just recived call when I was connected to my laptop with USB (original one).

And I'm surprised, cause I was shocked with my Kaiser! ;)

So I'm experiencing the same thing.

And oh yeah, didn't get a hair like yours with that, so maybe my is a little bit softer shock than yours :D
