Good Afternoon,
First i'd like to thank everyone for the great forum we built.
Don't know if anyone explained this before, but i was unable to find.
I've always been able to flash new roms. I've got SPL 1.07.ds. Last Rom I flashed was Finix'n'over 's Ultra Light.
Today, while trying to flash a new rom, i pressed ROMUpdateUtility.exe, as usual, everything seemed ok, but when into spl i just get serial port (not USB port) and PC just can't find the device. Anyone, plz?
Thanks in advance.

You could either use the Flash from SD method, or use this Flash Utility attached. Unzip, then copy your RUU_Signed.nbh file to this folder and flash. I apologize, I don't know whose this is, but it works for me every time. I hope it works for you... :D

I think now days, there are so many work arounds, that it's pretty hard to end up with a permanant brick. ;)
If what I sent does not work, reply back and let us know. I'm sure someone will get it going again. :D
Update: If it still does not flash using the above method, then try the SD method. Make sure you have an SD Card in your Trinity and that it is NOT an SDHC Card. Be sure it's formatted FAT32 and has NO NAME. Unzip the included attachment, and copy the SSPL.exe to your SD Card's Root Directory. Then rename the RUU_Signed.nbh file from the ROM of your choice to TRINIMG.nbh, and copy it to the Root Directory of your SD Card.
Go to the File Explorer, and browse to the SD Card Root Directory and run the SSPL.exe file. This should initiate the Flash Process. Again, good luck.
On rare occasion, I've not been able to flash any cooked ROM. In this case, flash back the OEM ROM originally installed on your Trinity. After this flash, it will work again with cooked ROMs.

Thanks for your help. None of the methods above seem to work.
How do i flash the original ROM if i cannot flash the TRIN?

So the SD Method did not work either? Strange, try flashing the OEM, but for that purpose, I always use the SD Card method. So far, it's always worked.
Pull the RUU_Signed.nbh from the OEM ROM and rename it to TRINIMG.nbh, (I've done this step in the Linked (http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=34452e2a72b96450ab1eab3e9fa335cab89ad6c5 0d1f3fd6) zip file) Copy it to your SD Card and try that method... This will flash back your radio also, so you will need to update it again if you've changed it.
For my phone, I use this ROM:
This is the Full ROM - (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=321182) - My Mirror of Full ROM (http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=34452e2a72b96450ab1eab3e9fa335cab89ad6c5 0d1f3fd6)
Click Here for the needed files (http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=34452e2a72b96450ab1eab3e9fa335cab89ad6c5 0d1f3fd6)
Yours might need something else, but this works for me.

Are you able to use the USB for Sync and data transfer? Wondering if it could be a bad USB Port on your Trinity. :( Or cable?

I have done it with an adapter, as long as it's NOT an SDHC card. My 2GB Micro SD in a Mini SD Adapter worked fine. Just be sure to follow the above instructions. :D

You are VERY welcome. Obviously you are not too stupid. ;) I'm not sure others would have thought to look into the port for the bent pin. Good Work! :D
