Ok I am a current holder of the T-Mobile Shadow...

Since I have this phone, I've been getting into the mod/hacking faze.
This is the first phone that I actually got to alter and change themes and applications and such...

Now I'm looking like one of the best phones or most popular phone that is worked on on XDA, that you guys thinks is a great phone, but is always updated with new things the members of XDA comes up with.

It seems that most development/hacking updates from XDA are usually for PocketPC

With me using the Shadow i have to change many files and sometimes I cant use some things like "Mobile Shell" which looks kick ass!!!

You didnt even state the things "that fit what you are looking for"
so how can we even suggest devices.
if you want the device with most option for flashing and hacking, then look round the most popular forums, then see which has most roms, then youll be occupied for ages. and no dont get a smartphone
