corrupted WiFi MAC address

After hard SPL unock by using AthenaUnlocker.zip, the MAC address of the WiFi adapter (TIACXWLN1) got corrupted -- 11-22-33-55-66-88. Therefore I can not use WiFi to connect to Inernet for my device HTC Advantage 7500 or 7501.

Does any body know whether there is a way to change the MAC address?

he applied the 750x unlocker to a 7510 .
I dont know if anyone has successfully unlocked a 7510 but I have seen plenty of complaints about lack of roms etc
and here is a link seemingly supporting this

i think this still might work. it is not an SPL or ROM:p. he needs to change his MAC address. i am optimistic. what harm can be done? this thing saved my absent-minded arse after appling the wrong ver of hard spl and on top of that, flashing with the wrong ROM (3.5 one instead of 1.2).
anyway, asking cmonex should be a good idea;)

X7510 has different ROM structure/locations than x750x
When you say what harm can be done, the answer is in the link I posted and that is that you could brick your phone as others have done.
Using the wrong mtty commands in cmonexs script may just abort the script , but obviously the original unlocker has broken something which should be fixed specifically as she was doing individually for the specific problem in AP4.
Then again , I may be wrong , but I wouldn't just give it a go and hope for the best if it was my phone

Sorry, I think I made a mistake. The device that I have is actually X7500 or X7501 -- there is no '16GB' label on the device. After upgrading, the default host name is HTC_X7510 -- that is why I got it wrong.

glad i was able to help. thanks also goes to lakeman for his warnings and trying to keep the things in a wider perspective (nothing can be worce than beeing responsable for bricking somebody's pda), and the sum of all should go to cmonex!:)
