Manilla 2D ver19
I get a "unable to retrieve data for selected city" when I try to update weather for added city. Other cities work without problems.

In previous version the city worked fine.

Did you install the latest Opera build? I had this problem after installing (and removing) it. I opened the accuweather widget that came along with it and after that updates got stuck.

I don't know if this is the problem, but it happened just after this.

Go to connections & edit your main connection to ensure the "this connection uses a proxy" check box is unchecked. It gives some isses for me until I disable the proxy, then all is fine.

Hiya folks.

Well, I had the same issue when I loaded Manilla2D v19a. To solve the problem, do the following:

1. Unzip the attached file.
2. Copy the file over your manilla2d.exe file located in the device \windows directory.
3. Reset your phone.

I did not have any issues with other functions after copying the file over my manilla2d.exe file, but to be sure, backup your original file before doing the above steps.

For those of you that do not have your city listed, edit the HH_0409_WeatherCities.xmlfile located in your device \windows directory. Just use one of the listed cities in your county as a template to add your city. After a restart, your city should be listed.

Glad I could help fredbred. This fix was available on the Manilla2D thread until reasontly. For some reason, it has been removed. Hope this helps other people with the same problem.

I do not think you can do this to fix a cooked ROM due to the files being in the ROM. Just try to copy the file over your manilla2d.exe file and see if it will copy over it. If not, then no, but if it does, then it will also fix your problem.

this is the fix I have been searching for. I had everything but the "patch". The patch fixed me up

The patch doesn't work on a prophet(my qtek s200) but it makes the Touch Flo not work.:confused:.Can anybody please give a solution for this weather problem?
