[Q] Samsung i640v

i have a samsung i640v from vodafone, it has vodafone menus, i wan't to put the original windows mobile gui in the phone, start menu, etc..

but i can't find any roms for this device..

any help would be appreciated :)

There's also a link to english rom, but I'm almost sure it's another 6.0. Yet it differs from mine. Its i640bugk1 and I have i640bugi4.

Anyone brave enough to test?

Maybe some talented guy would translate the chinese software?

If you want to have another menu edit registry wit total commander:
registry\HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\Rai\:MSHotl ist
find file "1" and edit it, change text to "GridView.exe"

I have to i640v and i have couple rom for this phone

if you try WM6.5 for i 640 download from this site -->http://cid-b3681f73a1295f37.office.live.com/browse.aspx/Publiczny/SGH-i640V

First you must update your rom to version "bugk1"
(you must download files 0_i640bugk1.part1.rar, and 0_i640bugk1.part2.rar and drivers for modem SamsungModem_xp.zip)

Just install driver modem, and unpack archive, run your phone in boot loader mode (press space + camera button + power when you take boot loader screen just select 4 and connects to usb
