A couple of days ago, I plugged my (Vodafone branded) Vox into a charger. The phone turned off and ever since I haven't been able to turn it back on. I have tried taking the battery, sim, etc out and leaving them out for a half hour or so, but to no avail. I have tried a different battery...
I don't get anything from the phone - no leds lit no nothing. Anyone have any clues? I have searched far and wide but haven't come across anything :(
... help!

Maybe there was a power peak. Wich burned a circuit of your vox?
Do you still have your phone under warrenty? I would RMA it. Since you don't get any response from your phone there isn't much you can do about it (my guess)
Good luck with it ;)

Only waranty can help you. PCB components are destroied by high electricity power.
Good luck again

Many thanks for your replies - I don't think it's still under warranty :( When I get back home I'll give the bootloader thing a go...

Slightly bizarre - I had to go over to Dallas on business this week (Mon-Fri). When I got back I put the battery back in (had left it out whilst I was away) and everything worked fine! I'm not sure if it had collected some moisture before or what... just very happy it works now!! :D

Strange, but good that it's solved :)
Good luck with your re-lived vox :D
* Maybe try the new dr. gonzo s740 rom, it will provide a much longer battery life! It used 1% in 6 hours while beïng idle in use it uses about the same amount of battery as any other rom :D and it has some handy features wich the previous 6.1 roms didn't have :)

Have moved over to the s740 rom and like it :) Although it is my better half (?) that has the vox, and she's just happy to have her phone back!
