Hi all,

Decided to write up my own thread for all my Manila customizing that I have done myself. All files are cab's for easy install and uninstall.

Updates:
[04/11/08] Added Wraith icon set.
[24/10/08] Added Transformer icon set.
[21/10/08] More customization to come soon! I have only released a few small things so far. Links coming soon. I am just waiting for my FTP!


Icon Themes:

Blossom Blue - Missing a calendar icon. You can Manila it below if you want. I have created it for you. I just do not use Calendar. Includes round gloss slider, custom email/sms orb and glossy black icon background.

One question that i had for you, in all 3 sets of icons you can see that the bottom curtain for the first half is mildly transparent, and for the second half it is solid. I noticed one time when i first installed one of your icon sets the bottom curtain was that semi-transparent gloss black when TF3D first started up, and only after about 5 seconds did it turn solid. Do you know of any way or .cab file that will make the curtain permanently that transparent gloss black because it looked amazing.

Not a problem, glad you like the icons.

The issue there is actually with the home tab. I haven't worked it out yet but only on the home tab the icon background is transparent. If you go to another tab it becomes solid!!! I am not sure why, I think it is a 'feature' although I use the word loosely. It happens with every theme I have used and on any background so I am at a bit of a loss. It's almost like on the other tabs there is a grey colour BEHIND the icon background.

My screenshots look odd because the first half is taken on the home tab then the rest are taken from the programs tab. Hence half transparent, half not.

Hope that explains it!

EDIT: Further examination proves it must be a feature.

If you go from home tab to your 2nd tab [in my case it is contacts] you will see the background stay transparent for a sec, then it turns solid! It then stays solid on all other tabs. Odd.

Great icons! Love the blue icons. One small flaw is that i have the sprint version, and the sprint logo still remains the same, but everything else is nice!

Thanks mate... I think there is a .cab somewhere to remove the Sprint logos. Don't quote me on that though, have a search!

Preferred blue on that theme.

Attached is my orange orb. Extract the _manila file to your \Windows folder.

If you want to edit it, copy the _manila file to your PC. Open Manila Editor, point it to the path the file is located then use the 'Save As...' function to save the file as a .PNG. Then proceed to open it in your favourite image editing tool and edit as you see fit. Save and use the Manila Editor again to 'Replace' the _manila file.

Jump into your \Windows folder and find the 36eabe92_manila file.

Delete it. Soft-reset. The notification orb will be back to the normal green one.

Then replace it again with my file.

didnt work... the notification orb within the email for multiple accounts is orange but the main one on the bottom is green. ugh.

oh... is there a way to change the internet browser icon? i really like your orange globe when scrolling and would like it as my main icon when i hit the internet tab.

If you look to the Weather Tab you will realize that the graphics are the same on HTC Touch HD but only with its height was resized, what makes it a little bit chunky. What I want is: change its width to make it proportional, I mean change graphics width.

Sounds to me like you are running the HD touchflo.

I am not. There is no solution for the crammed text and icons as it stands.
You've compressed 800 pixels into 640. It's always going to look bad.

As far as editing Manila like that goes - I have no idea! Sorry!

I don't know its possible or anything, it is probably, but can yu change the blossom icon colors to maybe also green and red instead just blue. I installed the blue one its amazing i just wanted to see if you could and wanted too
