Now that T-Mobile has released a radio stack for its unique 3G service here in the US, has anyone ported the radio over to a WM6.1 implementation? Since T-Mobile uses 1700Mhz and 2100Mhz for its 3G implementation, those of us who would like to have T-Mobile 3G service need a different radio implementation. Poor choice IMHO on T-Mobile's part here in the US - but the team in Bellevue always seems to deviate from their parent's direction and intent in Germany. Perhaps someday someone will correct these poor, misguided souls.

In the meantime, has anyone looked at this yet? Just curious.

If Tmobile is on 1700 which sounds like it is, a Polaris will not work no matter what radio you use since the hardware doesn't support that frequency. Do a search in the forums on Tmobile 3g in the US you wlil see several discussions on the type of frequencies used.

Thanks. Had only searched the Polaris forums and found noting specific relative to this topic. Lots of generic 3G references though. Thanks again.
