Can I Have Google Maps "use gps" automatically ?

I have a vzw xv6800 wm6.1
DCD rom 3.2.6
running google maps 2.2.0.16
i have done GC's aGPs mod as well...

every time i open google maps, i have to select "Use GPS" under the menu in google maps in order to turn on the gps functionality. once i do that it works great, its just an annoying extra step..

is there any way i can modify a registry setting or something so that it will use the gps automatically, rather than having to select that option every time i open up google maps?

This question has been asked many times. The short sweet answer is no. You can however write a mort script to do it. SEARCH for that and you will find your answer. I was just reading about it less than two weeks ago.

I agree with scrosler. It would be very easy to do in Mortscript. If you haven't done it yourself or come up with a solution when I have more time later, I might be able to write the script just for fun.:D
