I flashed to the 162.6 beta rom.
But in my programs under start I only see 6 apps.
It looks like there are no shortcuts created. i select office and more.
Am I doing something wrong?

If it created the Office folder in the Start menu itself it means that it at least did part of the installation script.

The other apps should be in programs or there was an error in the script, in which case there should be an error that was suppressed but can still be brought back after flashing using the taskmanager.

That should give you the line where it went wrong so i can determine what might have gone wrong.

If there's not mortscript error then All shortcuts must have installed correctly.

Of Topic:
Here's why i love the default Win Keyboard
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZeiKG3TefY&eurl=http://www.mobilespoon.blogspot.com/&feature=player_embedded
Big new Keyboards are nice and cool but if you want to be fast, then normal is the way to go. (at least for me)

And found one more handy App for my Pro

To continue the off topic part :)

Used the NullKeyboard on my Treo 750, great app!

Those keyboard gestures are really basic actually. Already used it the first time on the HTC Magician.. ..You gotta love the CTRL+C\V part also!

To bad there are no cool VGA skins. Even the standard white keyboard looks nicer..

A good alternative is Vito's ZoomBoard.

On-Topic:
Wondering when your birthday will be. Skip the cake and upload the update for us curious users :D
Been on the road the whole day and drained my battery in just one day :(
Think that S2U2 might be causing this. Just some more testing to do..

Lumos will be replacing Back light management and added HTC advanced Power management (whatever that does it sounds good).

I will be tidying up some stuff like where the options are placed and remove the last shortcuts. And go to bed early. Birthday is on Sunday.

Also trying to find the issue with Full Screen PLayer that isn't working so i can remove the movies again from ROM.

You'll love the Stylus in and Stylus in changing from Butler to.

I got The Butler swipes set to Alt Tab, Camera, Rotate Screen and CommManager lite. (couldn't think of what would be another good app to place for CommManagerLite)

INdeed weird that no VGA versions have been made for the default Keyboard.

Sounds good!

Power consumption has been a real pain for me since the beginning of my Diamond era :P
Did some tweaking myself already but S2U2 seems to drain my device even with the build in Power Save Mode on. Removed it now I will see what happens..

edit:
Noticed there's an update for Touch Response HERE (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=450256).

Noticed that the Dutch file mssp2.lex was missing in the Base_Lang_0413 folder. Doesn't seem to work though even if I disable the Diamond keyboard on the project.

The problem is that the suggest words doesn't work correct without the Diamond keyboard. It does store the added words, and suggestion is working for them as well.

Just have a look Noonski to my changes of the RGU. And the additional file.

Feel free to remove the attachment afterwards!

I had also added a mssp2.lex to Base Lang, but not one from a Dutch Rom as i couldn't find it in the newer one.

So Thanks for the NL version. ( i renamed it to mssp2.lex so don't worry if you don't see it in next version, it's there)

Hello Noonski,

There are almost no shortcuts created.
I solved the problem with my backup, this restores my old shortcuts.
I'm not sure wich shortcuts were created, I think: Activesync, Notes, Messages, Search, Iexplorer.

Don't know what you mean with the line i can see in taskmanager.

Also the SRSwow does not work.
There is no diference in sound.

I see you also use T-mobile in Holland, do you suggest a specific radiorom for here?

Btw i like the name o.r.d.e.
Don't change

Please be aware that the TouchResponse (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=450256) has been updated to v0.3.1.
This should fix the problems when upgrading in the future. Very nice app. Currently running this with the standard icon.

Just wondering. Read about speeding up the device by selecting Framework 3.x instead of 2.x. Now I know that this project uses .NET 3.5.

However the value that is suggested in THIS thread is set to "0" by default.
Changed it to "1" will test it. But I was wondering if anyone has some thoughts about this.

Key:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\.NETCompactFramework\
3.5.7283.00 > 1

One other thing, I've noticed that my hardware keys sometimes stop working. Wonder if TouchResponse has something to do with it. But that's probably a different thread ;)

mccune

Didn't know what you meant by NODRM. But a search in my project gave me some audio files that are named NORDM ;)

When you do this you will see that they are inside: PACKAGE_BLACKSTONE_EzInput_HTC_ALL_4__0407

But this would mean that you've enable this package in your Option file, right?

There are two solutions:
1. disable the package.
2. Delete the files manually.

I think that those audio files are there by accident. Can't think of a reason what they add for the Blackstone keyboard.
Personally I leave all the keyboard disabled and install the Small keyboard CAB from THIS (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426281) thread.
Will spent some time on it later to create packages of this CAB.

Hehehe,

Euh well eu those Files well euh....

They are gone, let's just say a good friend was using my PC to convert paid for music to DRM free music then copied these from Virtual machine to this folder instead of the Music Folder.

Really these aren't mine, i don't listen that much as Hip Hop.

Just a small tip.

It seems that HTC does not want you to change your volume when your in a call. Therefore the HTC Volume Control prevents you from changing the volume.

So what can you do?
Remove the HTC Volume Control.

Effect?
You screw up your font when using USB PopUp and Keyboard layout in qwerty mode.

How to fix?
Install the smaller Diamond keyboard from THIS (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=426281) thread...

I'm one happy camper now. Next step is to turn this CAB's into Packages. Haven't tested this but the previous solution at least lets you change the volume during a call :)

Okay, since the official Dutch ROM is available for the Diamond I decided to see if I could find some differences.

I've created a ZIP file containing the structure of the ORDE project.
This is actually most useful for Noonski only. Just take out what you can use and ignore the rest :)

Took quite some time since I did a file to file comparison. The most important thing is that the latest tapres file (do you remember??) Is not even working in the latest Diamond ROM!!!!

I did test all the files in my personal project, which by now is far from original I'm afraid..

Most of the files are related to Dutch MUI files. Since that's what I'm working on for the biggest part. But there are also standard English language files. Anyway just have a look Noonski and feel free to remove the attachment if you like.

Now it's time for some rest again...

Upload failed.. so here's the attatchment:
EDIT2 download link removed due to issues! /EDIT2

Edit: Still no sound for streaming media, but if I'm correct that's fixed in the next release..

Edit3:
Here's some additional information why I removed the attachment.
It seemed that after updating numerous files that the dialer problem reoccurred. Even when I've replaced the older tapres file.
So it's probably a combination of MUI files that cause this. It's to early for me to hunt down this problem since I don't know what the updated ORDE project will look like. I do hope we reach v2.03 of course.
As soon as this will be available I'll have another look at the dialer issue and compare my files with the updated project.

Took me till 4:00am last night before I was able to get some rest. It's at times like that when you start thinking: "If it ain't broken. don't fix it!"

I added your TapResMui & your RGU from the MSPLex thing, but i still don't have the Working Missed Calls in NL Dialer:mad:.

Also Added the phcanoverBmp.dll i found on the Finix thread (with my own CommManager Icon Added to it) to the HTC Dialer.

Added the extra fonts that dialer had into OEMDrivers to see if that helps with not selecting Volume Control.

One more Hour and Three Roms and Updated Kitchen will be up.

I even see Pkoper's Online again.

Hope you have Settled after moving.

Okay, seems like I've got a serious problem here...
I use Sashimi to take care of my installation after flashing a ROM. With this latest ORDE project my complete installation becomes corrupt while I run Sashimi.

After installing about 6 CAB's manually the device seems to hang. When I press the Start menu and enter programs I can see that some icons become corrupted and contain symbols instead of names. Also the icons look like they don't have any assosciation. After a soft reset the device hangs at the first boot screen.

Already clear my Internal Storage, put back a backup of my Internal Storage. Flashed with three other ROM's they seem to work just fine.

Just applied the HardSPL again and will see if something in my project is messed up.

Any idea Noonski what can cause something like this? Would Mortscript (configuration) be strong enough to corrupt the device? My best guess would be that it's caused by the transfer from Internal Storage to the device.

I did modify the settings of the kitchen. Will also flash with the default settings to see if that makes any difference..

And it's rearely being Cooked in on the Pro by other Cooks.

I don't see how regular Cab installs could go wrong, was so used to UC that i never Checked BengaLih's Sashimi.

Will try this later. My bad, but I set the 0413 for StreamingMedia > True.

Will test with the 0409 tomorrow or tonight.

One question, why add the Administrative scripts to the Opera ZIP? I think that's not a good idea for people that set Opera to False :)

Your right, as those Scripts Could (and already are in) go to wnds.zip.

Adjusted and it's in Changelog (finally some time)

Missed your Stopwatch update, Found and aplied now.

My camera isn't working since I installed 1.197.162.7.
The Camara is shown in the Start Menu, but when I try to start it nothing happens. When I go to "Programma's" --> "Multimedia" the Camera is not listed here anymore.

I didn't unchecked the options PACKAGE_ORDE_CAMERA_0000_6_00_31516_00 or PACKAGE_ORDE_CAMERA_0413 in BuildOS, but it seems that the camera is not installed.

It's Working Fine here in NL Rom with Default Settings.
So must be something else that's maybe disabled.

I'm testing Mondilv's new and Smaller OS.NB files. If these do the Job i might add option to Choose Pagepool before Language Selection.

Did add PagePool Options with Mondilv's NB's Attached the Changes based on your Previous Changes to Language Selection options.

The next parts we're in the EN options and my guess would be they should also be in the Dutch and German option files:
There changes are already in the attachments!

<Tip>PACKAGE_ORDE_AutoRun_0000_4_31_6_2</Tip>

There are some differences concerning the SocialNetworksEngine.
Germand and Dutch are using: pfcsabre
English is using: XBOXMOD

Since I can't find the XBOXMOD package I've change it to pfcsabre's package.

Sorry if it's not all clear to the reader since this was my "memo" file where I took notes while checking out this latest build :)

I hope I did some useful work for this project :)

hmmm..? what is this..? where did you get my files?? you hacked my hard drive??

Nice thing you guys have going around in here, healthy cooperative cooking! :)

All the honors go to Noonski. As he initiated this project. But it's indeed good to see this cooperative coocking. And all credits go to those who deserve it. So pfcsabre, thank you!

I whish i had,

As i still don't understand that IE6 Package.

Added it but nothing seems to change (except the home page)

But i Got The Package straight from you, remember, you traded it for those new and experimental Drugs ;)

I even removed the Rom Thread.

Done With the Whole Rom Cooking FanBoy Stuff, going on the User for User Tour from Now on, Kitchen's Only.

You mean the STOCK ROM is no more?

I've got myself a Nokia E71 so I've put the Diamond on the shelve for now.
It's also good to step away from the kitchen to clear your head :D

Hope you bought it from us (keeping a secret who us is), we have a good price for it ATM. Nokia E71 is doing very good. Looks like a nice device with good battery.

I'm to Harcore XDA to step over to that side, but it's a very good biznz device, i have to admit. And good price to.

Is it still not working? IE6 is kind of picky-- had a lot of combinations, trial and errors also to make it work. Maybe this combi would do on your SYS this is what I'm using:

Yup i'm still on an older Official Diamond Sys.

Slowly updating that, so those numers of your will come in handy someday.

I don't have the need for IE myself, really
curious about new Mozilla WM Browser.

Oke for those that like to go and change the version number in their first Bootup Screen.

1. Always Make a Back up fisrt ;)

2. Open one of the two os.nb.8 or os.nb.12 files (http://rapidshare.com/files/192064936/osnbsamples.zip) in a hexeditor.

In this example i'm using http://www.hexedit.com/

3. In Menu of hexedit you select Edit >> GoTo >> Hex 2 4728.

4. You will see that the version number starts here.

5. Overwrite the values present and re save the file.

6. Cook Rom.

Attached os.nb files come from Mondilv's Lego Kitchen Resource Thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=452184). Many Thanks go to Him for having these Files available for everyone and making searching through them using Hexedit a lot easier.

Project is closed because of loads of reasons but mostly because it is not the project i had hoped it would be.

The Kitchen has been downloaded many times but wiuout response at all from users. (besides a handfull that i greatly thank for their input and support)

It is clear that Diamond users do not care about stable, fast and clean Roms that you can control and decide yourself what goes into them, so i won't make the kitchen publicly anymore for the moment.

I will however keep supporting and testing my Fellow Cooks on other Device Forums, just not on the Diamond for now.

Cheerz,
