View Full Version : If you have dismantled your Wing

After replacing my LCD screen and putting my wing back together I noticed this piece was left! have no idea where it goes...can anyone help? :(

its like a small grey rubber piece

Extra piece....jk, I have no idea lol.

Don't know what it's called but it goes on a square bumped out piece of metal near the antenna plug and vibrate thing on the top of the mainboard.

Looked like it's some sort of a "Mic Rubber Cap" which would help the device to easily acquire the noise that has been transmitted to the mic. Have you noticed that small hole on the bottom of your phone right beside the USB rubber cap? That's where it should be located parallel to the motherboard. I suggest you dismanlte and put it back again...

Btw, are there any differences on the mic while that rubber is out? perhaps you should try calling someone to test it...

ya your right.. its an annoying piece.. it pops off.. its a cap on the bottom of the mother board covering a metal piece.. i dont know its exact purpose but it always feel off well i was trying to resemble the wing.
