Cannot download files with WM6.1 with PIE

Hi,

Since I upgraded to WM6.1 on my Touch Plus, the HTC European ROM, I cannot download anything directly onto my device using the browser built into the phone from the internet.

I cannot download Google maps or YahooGO! cabs directly using the built in Internet Explorer browser.

I didn't have this problem when using the standard T-Mobile UK Rom that was supplied with the phone. It starts the download, downloads a 0Kb file then says it's failed to install the program.

Has anyone else had this? I have also Hard Reset the phone, no joy!

please can someone try downloading something from the internet using explorer on a niki running wm6.1 htc europe rom.I cant watch youtube vids either!I hate this rom,shud of left t-mob uk rom installd.thanks all.
