manila 2d on 3400

i have installed manila 2d setup in my 3400i unfortunately the size it occupies is very huge for this mobile.

it asked me location where to setup but though i have selected "Storage Card" the installation went into main memory and filled up everything and my cell goes very very slow...

then i found there was a big folder in windows\Manila GFX which is huge storage eating space.

Now the question is is there a way we can use the this manila 2d with htc 3400 ?

i have extra 2gb sd card and i would love to use the manila instead SPB or other shell's.

manila has more good functionality then any other.

please help me out.

Hi,

You can use Sumit's vanilla manilla ROM.

Please take all cautions before flashing your GENE.


Before trying any kind of flashing, please read this thread atleast 100 times

As a wrong SPL flash can brick your Mobile(render useless)

Then try flashing with one of the GENE ROM's from this forum.

Just go to Dev/ Hack section and search for Manilla 2 D, be sure that you download the Elfin version.

Can any one help me how to copy my all the contacts and messages and other data so that i can do HARD REST.

Or any other way to remove those files which making it slow.

Use PPC PIM backup software (Google-PPC PIM backup) to save all contacts, messages e.t.c. on Storage card
