I dont change any font - just flash and synchronize with the computer -
Actually I dont know what font I use -

It is for first time - when I flash to lose cyrillic. But Your ROM is very very good ans fast - if I know what I will fix the problem - and if I know will write cyrillic layout to default keyboard.

Started upgrade.bat. After few seconds the screen on pda become white. I unplugged and plugged again the usb cable, i can hear the sound of new device connected in xp, but activesync won't connect.

Really, I got no problem for days of usage, please flash again and

BETTER KEEP POWER SUPPLY while loading the prophet AFTER FLASH...

if auto power off occurs while loading, may be unstable later on....

You may make a device lock shortcut from the Quick menu, and then assign to any key you want.....

ok, may be you all can try this... ;)

1. force hard-reset,

2. when the alignment screen shows, plug to PC (touch nothing in Prophet),

3. when activesync pops, complete it with " NOTHING IN SYNC OPTIONS",

4. when syncronized, start LazyTool.

5. as usual, wait then enjoy,

6. Don't forget yo apply the caller fix... ;)

I have finally installed this fantastic rom.
It seems pretty good and stable.
I have only one question.
I use my nokia e51 as modem.
The connection via BT in original WM5 works but not with this rom.
I can pairing my e51 and my s200 but when i start the bt session the connection fails.
Note that the bt icon in the e51 don't light and my s200 show a error message that no active data sessions are active.

The same thing for my samsung sgh 920.

Are there any workaround?

I am a newbie but I can say as follow:

I did the same error in my try to install.
I moved the rom file (.nbf) in the folder where there is ruu update exe file.

nb.
When I have unzipped the pakage from dioxda2 I have noticed a config file (something as HTCconfig...). This file have some strange caracters at beginning of his name. For security I have made a copy of this file on the same level of directory an renamed it clearing the strange caracters.

I don't know if this has solved my problem but for me has worked.

Hi Dioxda2, I have been using all your ROMS including 7D and now the M2D one. Earlier it used to work fine, but i flashed 20924 ROM to try out Throttle launcher. It gave me bunch of problem and i had to HardSPL. After doing so i went back to your M2D rom. I have noticed few things
1. It installs 1d and 1dFinal both . It remains unstable till i remove 1D from the installed programs.
2. The dialscreen is weird with purple graphics, is there a way to change it to nice Manila kind of dialpad?

This time around my sound went very low and as if speakers are going to die- the ringtones and all system sounds are very weird.

I really dont want to hard reset as my camera button is destryed and i have to use clear storage all the times.

can you suggest me a solution.

1. 1d.cab, nothing unstable at all,

2. dial pad you may try other likek minimal 1.3 with smartdial, it looks and works good :)

3. flash NVID then flash this one. the no need to clear storage then :)

1. same, after flash, you will lost all data, please backup you data .... :)

2. better let it run completely, ( in order to obtain settings for quick menu and the WkTask and Reg for VSD and WLM.... )

My data is backed up by pim.vol on storage card so no issues all my contacts, appointments, call history etc is in pim.vol which i replace after hard reset so i am happy. By the way are u uploading new version? I was about to flash the existing version. should i wait?

I've installed Cyberon VoiceCommand 2.5.1 ITA ... I'd love to use it together with my bluetooth headset but now, when I push the call button on the headset it doesn't start anymore like in my previous ROMS. Now it starts the dialer. How can I reassign the VoiceCommand 2.5.1 (not the one that's embedded in the ROM!) to the headset?

Same problem happened with me. My speaker suddenly started giving squeaky sound instead of proper sound after flashing this ROM. I reflashed after using NVID and did this procedure 2 times without luck. So i am assuming it could be hardware problem.

Hi, just flashed this rom and love it, works much faster than the last clean rom I flashed.

The problem i'm having is when ever i try to change a setting in M2DC it hangs when i click apply, i've tryed just leaving it but it doesnt ever complete the device just goes into standby.

2. To be noticed that you will never start the M2D again if you select the favorite pr Operator tap....... :(

I had tested many times and in my new version, there aren't useless taps in M2DC.. ;)

did you hard reset you device with the three buttons one more time after flash?

hi there, you have done a fantastic rom. Only a little thing, i want use the htc task manager but if installed and loaded it doesn't appear when goes up the m2d. I've downloaded the htc task manager in the m2d 20 update, what is the right version to use?

Did you check the TMgr option in the setting section to show the TM ??

You may also disable the WkTask, too. ;)

i'we disabled wktask and i have check the option setting, in fact if m2d is unload the task manager is visible in the right corner up the screen, when i load the m2d it disappear :(, i'm trying now with the tm loaded with the rom
Edit with the task manager loaded into the rom i have the same problem :(

For the first one,

you may disable the 3 seconds delay for incoming call,

the second one.... sorry I can't help ( as I didn't use that at all)

for all people like me using a second phone with flat or business sim as modem there is a registry tweak to enable BT dialing.

With this rom and the nitro manilla (I have tried this one too) is not possible. But I have found two registry keys that do the trick.

Change

if dianing with *99# as phone number don't works then you have to modify the following key too

1. after align the screen, you will see " ...........3 seconds......... "

2. at this moment you may softreset the prophet with the stylus if you don't wish the 2 cabs to be pre-installed.

That's the ROM at this time, works very good.

just the calling screen was bad but with the new skin, it's perfect, thanks!!


about the rom : very fast,
manila2D, pcm keyboard (I love this keyb), S2P, S2V, S2U2, PCM contacts, PCM image viewer, esmertec java, opera mini , sjphone, skyfire, windows messenger, office mobile, gmaps, -> works good

thomasthomas navigator 7, nonigpsplot -> no problem

opera built 2745 -> a little bit slow (but it's only a prophet!!!)

Result : the one I prefer at this time, thanks :)

If you have installed m2dc for customization, use it. If you have not, install first.
After installing m2dc;
1. Close m2d from today plugins (uncheckmark on "setting, personal, today, items tab, Touchflo).
2. Open m2dc in tabs section, checkmark message and or rearrange as you wish, click apply and it will close m2dc.
3. Go to todayplugisn again and checkmark Touchflo. Click OK.

You will see message tab on m2d

Hi Dioxda, I have been using your roms from a long time 7D, 748, 755 and 759M2D full. Can you guide me to a place where i can get information regarding the difference between all the rom nomenclatures.
1. Like how would you put 748, 755,759 number and why?
2. Is a 20794 more advanced in features than 20759 ?
3. Which one the most advanced ROM for prophet ?
4. Are you going to release 794 M2D version?
5. Are our prophets capable of taking Win 6.5 professional in future?

I am planning to buy TouchHD and till then my prophet serves just right with all different ROMS i put and experiment with TF3D and Andriods....

Hi DioXda2, I have been using this ROM for quite some time now. I used Turtle 759 earlier and now switched to tURtLE 759. I must say this is quite stable ROM.

I have only two problems with all your ROMS , infact with all 6.1 ROMS i have used(around 10 of them till now) , No matter what i do the power goes off even if i uncheck "turn off the device if not used for" in advanced power settings. I have tried hardresets , reflashing, almost everything that you would normally advise.

2nd problem is about repeat alarm bug in OS. I do not use any additional alarm tools but using standard OS alarm gives error. First it becomes non responsive and then it picks up different tone and starts sounding after 5 min. The repeat bug is overcome by installing GAlarm or something similar but it is an overload on device to use Alarm software when u already have one(although it is pretty basic).

If you can give me solution to above two problems, it would be great

This the first time I write a reply. I have got so many great experience since I join with this community, especially for knowledge of upgrading my beloved HTC Prophet ;) I like this community very much. Thanks 4 all of you guys.

I have upgraded ROMs of my prophet about 8-10 times (I think).
This ROM's is the last upgrade that I have done. But one thing that make me very curious. I have tried everything but still fail & fail again.

I would like to use my upgraded prophet as PC modem. I tried it before upgrade and It works very nice. but now after upgrade why I could not do it anymore ?
Can some body teach me how to do it ?
