"Your Notifications"

I noticed the board sw was upgraded and now shows a "Your Notifications" link in the top-right corner. I couldn't find it, but is there a way to change that link to Private Messages as in the good old days?

Did you notice the small drop down arrow beside it that does lhave private messages as an item on the list?

Of course I did. The problem is that the start page first must be loaded, then after clicking the arrow the dropdown appears and then after looking, aiming and hopefully hitting the private messages link, my private messages appear. I don't need all the other shit so for me this isn't an improvement.

EDIT: I got my private messages link back by nuking pending "friend" requests :D
