How To Set The Led Ring Completely Off ??

Anybody know how to set the led ring of the touch diamond, thats the round light sensor in the middle completely off ? registry entry or something like that ?
So it doesn't blink on sms, email, battery charging and missed calls ?

Perhaps a good setting for battery life

I didn't actually measure this, but in my opinion the effect on battery life is negligible.
