Hi all,

I am looking for a way to set my diamond so that when connected to a charger (car, usb, anything), it will set the screen to full power, full backlight and not stop that at all (unless I hit the power button on top).

When in battery mode, it should continue working as usual.

The reason for this, is that when I am connected to a charger it means I am in my car, and I like my device on, ALL THE TIME.

The current situation, is that it either blanks off, or the backlight makes it impossible to see, since it adjusts to bad, I do not need energy save when connected to a charger.

Any thoughts?

Settings>System>Power>Backlight

Untick 'Auto Adjust' and set the slider 'On external power:" to Bright(right side).

Then on Advanced tab, Untick both the options under 'On external power:"

this does NOT do the trick
the display gets dim after a while

I am also using S2U2, but have it set to not lock when connected to external power.

any reg options?
