Hi, I had Artemis before my Diamond so here is my opinion:
The difference in size is really significant. Althrough the ergonomy isn't so excellent, it is a great change than having Artemis. Better and faster CPU, RAM, etc. is of course another advantage. I really recommend the Diamond. It is worth to buy it.
Some cons: slow speed in TF3D (depends on ROM), low sound quality (also can be improved by some apps)
Must say that it was a good choice to move to Diamond from Artemis

Suggest you wait until the Touch HD is release....you'll probably get a great bargain as people migrate to the new model ;)

If you like music, don't get it.

I've got both & both have pro's & con's
diamond is great, apart from the 4gb space limit barrier.
biggest + is it looks so damn gorgeous & the internet on it is far far superior v's the artemis, U-tube & opera run fast, aslso gps runs faster & are very smoothe.
artemis is great, apart from its too slow (mines is overclocked to 240mz) but its really slow & I run hardly anything on it.
biggest + is you can stick an 8gb (or even higher I believe) microsd in it like I have so you can store way much more stuff on it v's the diamond.
I use the diamond currently & gave the artemis to me GF who likes her mp3's more than me, so she gets better use of the bigger gb's.
But we all have opinions & mines is the diamonds great but it would have been so much better if had the ability to use a microsd also as well as the 4gb, or have just had a low gb onboard to start with like 1gb or so & used a microsd for the users who like a lot of storage.
4GB IS ITS DOWNFALL
hey, but its still GORGEOUS ;)
