This may seem like a silly question, but once i've installed a cab file do i have to keep it in the program file folder on my internal storage or can i delete it to free up some memory?

You can delete the CAB after install, there's an option in Advanced Config to do this automatically for you :)

Or you can keep the .cabs in a file named apps, so when you flash you have all your favorite apps at hand.

I'd also go for this one!

I keep mine on the internal storage so they are not robbing vital memory, but ZIP them in one file just to save space and tidy things up. Nice and easy to unzip if I ever flash the phone! (or the next time I do it, seems to be fortnightly at the mo).

Keep them. Best place for that is the internal storage. Sadly mine are in a folder called "Current" as I seem to be flashing on a regular basis (Swiftblades fault as he keeps updating his ROMS;))

Oops, i've gone and deleted them all. But i've got them all on my pc anyhow. Prob put them back on my phone again then. I was just trying to free up some memory as i've only got around 20mb left. Not much considering i've only got 1 theme stored and a few additions on top.
Where does all the memory go to?
