with the att tilt, without the front camera..is it possible to hold a video convo over wifi? or atleast be able to see the other persons camera over any instant messenger?

Well technically it's possible, the question there is more to find a program / compatible IM client that will allow you to do that. The back camera is there to use for any program that wants it... but the tiny drawback is that if you want the camera to see you you obviously can't see the screen to view the other party.
