fingerprint ID sensor

there is a new HTC touch phone with the ability of fingerprint ID sensor for more protection ....... can any one extract this cab from it ...... making it work on tytn II ???????

no way, i think that the tytn2 touchscreen is not that sensitive and precise for that kind of functions...
i'm maybe wrong....

You are quite right. Plus, the touchscreen on our phone can only sense one point at a time. If you push down in multiple points, the touchscreen gets confused and returns a single point, usually exactly between the two points you are pressing. So, if you press down with your thumb, it will just return the single point at the center of your thumb. The phones that have fingerprint security also have special fingerprint sensors built into the phone, separate from the screen. They are the same type of sensor used in laptops or desktops with fingerprint sensors.

reaaly we want something like that in our kaiser's loool i hope so the developers Don't sleep for us and try to create a program like that maybe we can use the camera instead of the screen or the fingerprint sensor:D:D or by i eyes i think i saw something like that with the camera and eyes print lool in iphone i think i do not remember where i saw this before

Isn't possible. Hold any touch screen just right under light, and you can see the light dots on the touch panel. It's a matrix, and it responds to an X & Y coordinate. It would take something like a swipe device for fingerprints. I think MS has one that does that, for the PC.

i dont belief this. came onnn man that is unposubul maybe camera but camera need to me very sensetif min. 5-6m.pix and when is lock camera will lock is well may be same how way around keep the camera unlock but thad way around is not going to be safe to so yes this unposubul on tytn 2. aaaaaaa i thing i found solution lets go to htc and ask them to make new pda and make shour to put finger scan buld in is well.

by the way any one have same information about new htc pda yet?

You can download S2U2 and modify the Slide to Unlock text to read Biometric Reader. At least it looks cool when you slide your finger and it unlocks the screen. Just don't let your friends try with their finger. : )

maybe someone with experience on face recognition could use the image from the frontal camera and process it to see if it is the "mug" of the owner.. just an idea .. :D
