MOD EDIT:
So an update eh? How about a public beta? Sorry you all have been waiting so long, there has been much going on in the world of athena on our end and much more in testing. One thing we worked hard on is a true 6.1 NK.exe the ONLY rom anywhere that will have that, a work done by the hardworking cmonex herself. To download go here: http://eliteteam.htc-hackers.mobi/pub/AthenaProjectRedux/ Download the nbh and the wrapper. If you'd like to there is also the pagepool app that you can play with pagepool settings. Please all download play with it and see what you think. Thank you for your support and patience

Added by DaveShaw in LTxda's absence, take from a post by AstainHellbring here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4728013&postcount=293).
END MOD EDIT:
...more coming soon. ;)

Project Goals

- New Build
- New Life
- New Features
- New Speed
- New Stability
- Updated Software
- Two Versions - Packed and Clean but nothing in between (wow that rhymed, pretty cool) :-p
- More to come soon...

Bro, you're always welcome back. Meanwhile we'll keep the machine well greased and parts moving. Come back when you can, we'll all be here waiting on you.

We have some nice plans for this next ROM so check in from time to time and flash your Athena and provide feedback.

Hey!

Thanks for your kinds words bro. We sure are on IRC. There isn't much activity for this yet in the public. Today I flashed a alpha ROM to my Athena and it booted fine, all is looking good for this project so far....but i never thought it wouldn't :p

We should be active in IRC soon with some more testing once we port some nice things over to the ROM. I can't wait. These newer builds, I'm hoping will make the Athena snappier and a bit more pleasant to use.

For now, let everyone know about the project so we can get things going again. I can't wait to see how the thread will turn up again. LOL

Those were some crazy crazy times. I'm sure many people had to replace the F5 key on their keyboards from hitting refresh so much. :p

If you guys can come up with something better than MiChy, I will be seriously interested - I have been rock solid with MiChy 2.04D and not seen the need to upgrade further.

One small request - if you can build on Pawel 's work on BlueTooth improvements, that would be awesome. Its my only real gripe at present

Liking the interest already. Spread the word and I hope there is as much interest in the project as there was "back in the day" :)

Thanks. Although we're not competing against anyone, I'm going to flash his ROM to see what it's about. Our goal is not to compete but to do the best job we can and hope that's enough. :)

We still have all our old tricks in the bag as well as a few new ones. :D

I'm glad to hear this news.

The problem is that I have updated my athena to a x7510.
Do you plan to make a versión for this model? Now that we have the HardSPL for the x7510 (thanks cmonex), we need good ROMs.
If you don plan to release a version for the x7510, would you give me authorization to port your new ROM to the x7510? (or at least to try it, because I'm quite new to ROM cooking :))

Thanks.

I understand where you're coming from, but lets not take away credit from Michy's effort and time spent. He kept us satistfied while the AP Team took a break. I for one am glad that they decided to come back, due to the fact that they made break throughs I wouldn't even begin to imagine possible. However, Michy kept food on the table. I appreciate all the hard work and efforts each and everyone has put in and I will forever be greatful for all you guys time. Food for thought: How about Michy and good ole Irus being part of the team? (Boy the good ole days when ltxda and myself went off on Irus for the Beta release of AP 4...lol) No grudges held Irus and keep up the good work.

i cannot believe that some person put all cooks' works on a table to see if one is better then another. There is NOT a rom better then another...or the best rom. As i think, a rom can be perfect for one person and a shit for another.
Of course i can have my mode to cook roms, and the athena project team can have another......but we arent make a marathon for who make the best rom.........(i hope)

Itxda and Pawel,

Your returning to the Athena forum is such a wonderful news for us, including the 7510 users.

There are so many things on the plate and so many varied expections: spl3.5 vs spl 1.2 platform, 750X versus 7510 platform.

Although eventually I'm going to use the spl1.2/7510 platform, I would like to appeal to you on behalf of the 7510 users to help them get their first ROM with the highest priority, for obvious reasons - they do not have any now. I hope you can give them their first ROM before Blackstone comes out, as the later might cause big distraction;)

How soon will Irus be able to release the pre-release version for everyone to trash their phones? I guess he's earned his forgiveness for his youthful exuberance!

Hey Michy dont take me wrong good buddy, since ap team took "a vacation" you have done well to carry the torch and produce excellent contributions to this already wonderful community.Evreybody could always do better, hell even after ap4 testing there was still kinks and ap5 beta was designed to correct them.It has been said on your thread that you have largely focused to pack in your roms and that there have been bugs that been passed by or later corrected by downlevel builds which also probaly could be corrected other ways w/o such sacrafices, and the thing is you have potential,If I didnt think so I would've not spent time packaging reg fixes and files correcting gps, bluetooth, etc bugs in r3 that you have out of good faith w/o question applied to r4 series to this day currently still using on my athena.Am I upset that I didnt see my 2nd set of recommendations added to r6? honestly yeah a little but guess what?! michy its your rom, your call, your the cook and im sure theres reasons for evreything that I may not know why or I dont need to know so like maybe you cant bc size, compatibility,or other obstacles that may prevent rom functions I dont understand bc im not a cook.My words were not meant as a hostile competition cookoff but rather a friendly 3rd party challenge for both cooks (elite team and michy) to produce quality error free work for the community to enjoy as well as set personal goals to improve ones skills in other words having 2 or more cooks allows ideas to be shared off one another for their own work.I hope that no harm was done by my comments, peace and thank u 4 ur time.

I saw a neat prog a while ago called sashimi developed by bengalith from the kaiser forums who got banned for reason of a mod not being of buddies. What it does is automatically installs cabs, custom settings from reg/xml n etc.The only annoyin thing is that it goes portrait when run.I was thinking maybe we may see this in redux rom?
O btw bengalith still develops this but not on these forums but rather here.

We've acquired a new build and are working towards getting it booted on the Athena soon. This is working towards a pre-alpha build for internal testing. We'll stablize it, work out any kinks then go from there. Hopefully, time permitting, we'll have an alpha build by end of next week. Takes a while when we all work and some of us have the flu. :/

Hang in there people. We'll work towards releasing an RC1 after a few internal alpha and beta tests so we can include everyone in the fun.

Once released I don't want to hear...this ROM sucks. LOL

It's a RC not a final build so jump in and help build a good ROM. :)

We discussed in the MOD section about when to set a thread as sticky. There isn't a "general purpose rule" but in Athena WM6 section there is a sticky thread about ALL the ATHENA ROMs.
To avoid to have to stick every rom thread the "all in one" was created

The only stuck are the VANILLA, the BASE ROM, AND the 0Mb pagepool, as they are "particular" versions
"Particular" means:
The sogarth base and the other ROM have its kicken released and it could be used as test bed for new chefs newest ROM, plus we haven't many vanilla or 0Mb ROM :)

I'm not sure what this is about...all i know is that this thread has now gone from posted to sticky to unstickied to back to stickied and now back to unstickied.

I'm not a mod, you guys do what you need to do, I'm just confused. lol

I figured for a ROM that has such community support and involvement that it would be great to keep it stickied for the community members, maybe not. I'm not arguing for or against it, just my thoughts.

It's not up to us though...it's up to the mods and or members. I guess if there is enough demand for a sticky on a particular thread, since there is no official rule, it might end up sticky, maybe not.

Either way, we all know where this thread is and it's soon to get very busy in here.

Everyone READY??? :p

I read the thread but did not see if you mentioned if this will be SPL 1.2 and or 3.5? for me 1.2 is the best due to compability for programs that wont work in SPL 3.5

Thank you for coming back and the effort

Thank you for coming back and the effort
Its mentioned there will be both a lite and regular versions.Since this is gonna be an upgrade from ap4 and ap4 was 3.5 spl only, the regular version I can tell you off the bat will be spl 3.5 as well.As for lite version of this rom its possible there will be both a 1.2 and 3.5 spl versions, due to the fact light will be stripped down small enough to fit on a 1.2 spl partition. As for regular versions,ap team usually hooks it up with stuff in result requiring the partition resize to 3.5 spl.

One that I know of for sure is a older program (heard that this was a issue with some older software) WeatherPanel on SPL3.5 it installs fine but after a soft reset hangs the device, after doing the SPL downgrade no problems the issue continued with different ROMS (tried to eliminate being a ROM issue) on SPL3.5

Anyone here using WeatherPanel on the older SPL?

20273 has my support as well. It takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. Seems no matter what weird stuff I do to Michy's 4.1 it is still solid.

Anyone here using WeatherPanel on the older SPL?

I'm using WeatherPanel on the AP3 ROM. I'm not sure what version, but I'm fairly sure it's on SPL 1.2. WeatherPanel works great and I love it.

I don't know for sure because I bought the 7500 used from Kong Kong. The previous owner re-flashed the ROM with AP3. This was long before AP4 came out.

I thought that WeatherPanel was working in the AP5.0 beta, but I can't find the message in that thread that led me to that conclusion.

It's great to have you guys back; I've been wanting to upgrade my ROM - especially to include the auto-portrait/landscape feature. A co-worker had an Athena and upgraded his to AP4. It was pretty cool, but seemed a little too slow for me to want to switch. (That, and I'd lose my beloved WeatherPanel.)

Is the new release based on the AP5.0 beta, or on new work on AP4?

Waiting... Waiting... Waiting... :( :) :( :)

Hello everyone, I'm kinda new to the board. I've been reading here for a while since my first HTC (diamond touch). Now I'm using an x7500.

I recently upgraded my phone to AP 4 SPL 3.5, however I'm noticing that I can't run a couple of the games I could before. Namely Undercroft.

My actual question is, will there be more application support in the new AP Rom? I was able to run these apps in the last OS (just an English wm6.0 rom) but now I'm unable to.

I'm not altogether sure if it's an spl related thing, or just some sort of general incompatibility with AP4. Who knows.

So, yes, will there be more support in the new AP ROM?

Thanks for all the wicked work so far, my phone's the most functional it's been since I bought it.

Caid.

P.S. Prayers were sent in long ago for your daughter. ;) Good hope to you and your family.

After those things are ironed out we start tweaking and figuring out how the ROM will be staged, etc. If we need more testers we'll post here with the details but we're not there yet.

Thank you all on behalf of the team for your continued support. We're going to try to start heating things up around here.

We continue to welcome your suggestions, ideas, and that good old craziness from back in the day. :)
Looks like I made my monthly visit at the right time then.

The ROM is testing out well with some issues of course, it is after all still alpha quality.

Astainhellbring is continuing to work out some kinks while I do some real world testing with the device. After applying some tweaks I found the ROM to be much more responsive. We still have more tweaking to do so this is a very welcome result.

Issues we're working through currently are:

- MicroDrive
- BlueTooth
- Buttons
- Trying to decide which WM build is best for this latest effort

Again, thank you fll for your continued support. I'm once again excited about my Athena ;)

That's right. (i.e. there's no point in choosing some non-responsive-latest-build for no good reason). The thing that distinguishes AP is that it's got some clear reason for every step forward. And the end result is always something that makes us favour our Athena (or the fact of having a PPC) over any other competitor.

Notice also that AP is loyal to RealVGA.

Internet is one important issue you'd need to be aware of. Every decent internet-based application needs to be considered. The G1 is taking a lot of space in the market.

And thanks for the effort.

I havent tried this yet but apparrently there is a way to do this with the touch HD
Dutty throy has a package to enable this but I think it interferes with some other programmes

Thanks man. I have no idea how or what i'm doing right now. My mind is a complete and utter mess. I'm trying to stay busy while we make arrangements with the funeral home and hospital, etc. I'm just trying not to go crazy and even though I'm typing and still active on this forum, I don't think it communicates at all how i'm feeling nor by state of mind...my any stretch. I know one thing, it's hard to stop crying right now and I feel like I got hit by a truck and the one behind that truck ran my butt over. I wouldn't wish this on my worse mortal enemy and hope no one here has to ever go through something like this.

Again, thank you very much for your kind words and keeping us in your thoughts. :(

Version 2 of the alpha build has been flashed and we continue testing.

Micro Drive and Bluetooth issues have been resolved. There might be more but we'll identify those with your help once we release a ROM to the community.

To Do:
- Buttons
- Tweaks
- Add-on Pack
- Determine which build of WM will be best for this run
- Some other stuff but I can't remember right now <-- a bit brain dead atm

Thank you.

You're correct, every application must be considered. Part of the project is to look for new ways of doing things or new products to do new things. We're working on an add-on pack to give Athena Project users more choices. I'm a firm believer that the device needs to do as much as it's capable of doing and am always looking for new software.

That said, I welcome submissions from the community. If you find software that can do something new and cool or something better please don't hesitate to post here. I just found an application that helps track satellites in space. Is it a necessary program, nah..but is it cool...oh yea. Something new that your phone can do, it's like getting a new toy or phone. That's why I love this platform and our devices.

We'll be releasing at least two final versions for the community. Both optimized but one fully loaded and one empty (vanilla).

Thank you.

LTxda don't know if you remember me telling you the story man, but a year and a half ago I went through the same ordeal of losing my 7 year old son, who passed away of a natural death at school. Like you said there's nothing anyone can ever say or do to lighten the situation. You just have to find it within yourself to stay strong, if not for yourself do it for your family. I'm deeply sorry for your loss bro, and trust me if there's anything you would like to get off your mind don't hesitate to message me. Burrying a child is nothing anyone ever dear to dream about, especially when their time is so short spent. Stay strong man and don't be affraid to let out your emotions however you see fit. One thing I definately must ask of you, and that's to not bottle it all in bud. Be safe for now and God bless you and your family.

Hi,

Can you add facebook mobile to this rom?

That is on our list of apps :)

If you've used our ROMs before you know we like to have at least one build that does as much as possible out of the box. The only thing that will stop us from having Facebook mobile in the ROM is if there are problems of course.

Keep the suggestions coming, we love them. :D

The past two days we've started adding apps to the ROM as well as a few more tweaks. We're also compiling a collection of addons, etc. for release with the ROM.

- Need to resolve issues with buttons
- Going to try a few things with drivers if time permits (please don't ask what, we'll release those details if it works out, otherwise it would be a waste of time to discuss)
- Continue to add apps and test for compatibility and stability issues
- Optimize ROM further

Working In ROM
- Auto Rotate (we have, courtesy of Olipro, a toggle for this so you can disable it at will)
- MicroDrive
- realVGA (of course there are issues with this. since we aren't the realVGA developers we won't dive into repairing issues with the utility itself)
- Some tweaks and optimizations have been implemented
- Some apps and utils

We'll have another, hopefully more detailed, update soon.

Can't say for sure but I can tell you we're doing multiple builds a day and heavy testing so hopefully not too much longer. One thing to remember is that we're not going to wait till a final build this time. We're going to release RC1 for everyone to help with heavy testing and provide feedback to expect bugs, etc. At least this will get you guys involved faster than waiting for a final version, right? I'm sure that's what everyone wants. :D

If it matters, I have a spare Athena I can beta test a new ROM on. It's a 7501 though, so no 7510 ROMS, but if there is something that needs to be shaken down a bit, I'd be delighted to assist.

I currently have Michy's 6.5 RC1 on it now, so it's no biggie to replace that with something else. let me know if I can help in anyway.

Oh it's for real. I've pulled out my Athena, dusted it off, and is about to flash an internal test ROM this Sunday. We're going to do some testing and enhancing the going to try to release a public beta for everyone to jump in and help with testing. Get ready because it's coming....FOR REAL!

Ok peeps here's the scoop.

Got ROM working well, MD recognized, etc. Working out issues with buttons...IF we work out the issues in time we'll try to release a public beta between Sunday/Monday. IF we don't it'll put us a little behind schedule. So for some that missed my bottom line...a release in the next couple of days is TENTATIVE on a few things. We might or might not. The team is trying very hard to make it happen though.

Right now it's running smoothly and team members are working extremely hard and have already put in some serious hours working out some of the kinks. As always thank you for your continued support and donations. Let's bring this device back to life.

We'll try to keep you informed as new developments are available.

Please give a BIG shout out to AstainHellbring and Cmonex on this one. They are busting their @5535 to make this happen for the community.

EDIT:
One more thing people...the kernel in this ROM is going to be....REAL NATIVE WM6.1 Kernel.

Hi!

Nice to here such news! But...

...REAL NATIVE WM6.1 Kernel

6.1? I thought this ROM was 6.5... Or am I missing something?

And one more question, what 6.5 build this ROM would be based on? Can we hope for 23xxx something (with lots of new interface elements e.t.c.)?

Thank you for everything,
WBR - Draco.

Yes but as explained to me by cmonex, 6.5 uses a 6.1 kernel. What this means is that since we have a native kernel, our 6.5 OS should run more efficiently and nicer on your devices. Now, don't you just love that? :)

Hi!

You'll seeeeeeee....

Yea, I really hope so :) But, as explained here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=544445)...

Virtual Memory as it applies to the Windows CE 5.2 Kernel

There's a 32 bit address space available - a total of 4GB potential memory on WM. This total 4gb address space is split in half - 2gb to the Kernel, 2gb to the User. Kernel address space is only accessible by processes/threads with kernel level access, whereas user address space is accessible by all processes/threads. The user address space is from 0x00000000 to 0x7FFFFFFF, and the kernel address space is from 0x80000000 to 0xFFFFFFFF.

The user address space is split into 64 slots of 32mb a piece. (64x32=2048, or 2gb) - The first 33 slots (slot 0 and 1-32) are used for processes, and the remaining slots for object store, memory mapped files, and resources.

Each slot is easy to visualize in hex, you just increment a digit. Slot 0: 0x00000000 to 0x01FFFFFF, Slot 1: 0x02000000 to 0x03FFFFFF, Slot 2: 0x04000000 to 0x05FFFFFF, and so on. Each process gets assigned it's own slot, there are 33 total, minus the kernel process which is always running, so that's where you get the 32 process limit (which is always lower in practice, since there are always processes running in windows mobile to support the OS) - this is also the reason for a 32mb limit per process - you can see that's all the address space available in one slot.

How does that all apply to our situation with modules? When you create a module, you are telling Windows Mobile that you want that module to be memory-mapped, so that each time it loads, it's loading to the same, known area of ram - saving space in slot 0 - this is done on the computer-side, during 'cooking' and is the job of wmreloc, g'reloc, bepe's Platform Rebuilder, etc. Virtual allocations are aligned to a 64KB border, so if you memory map a .dll that's only 3Kb large, it's still going to eat up 64KB of memory space.

There are also pages that can be allocated to these slots, that are aligned to a 4KB boundry, and process/general allocations that take place during normal operation. The way the system handles this is that modules allocated on rom build-time (modules we allocate with g'reloc et. al.) are allocated from top-down (for slot 1 for example, starting at 0x03FFFFFF for the first module, taking up space to the nearest 64kb boundry, then the next module, in a line down to the 0x02000000 address, which is the beginning of the slot) - General allocations that take place during normal system operations are allocated in the remaining space, from the bottom-up (so again with slot 1 as an example, starting at 0x02000000 and ending at 0x03FFFFFF) - As you fill up these slots more and more with modules, that leaves less space for windows to dynamically allocate other, general allocations, which can, and does result in out of memory errors (even when the device has plenty of physical memory left, it cannot address this memory when virtual memory is full)

Here's where the kicker comes in for the difference between 6.0/6.1/6.5 - There are a total of 4 slots that can be used for module allocation, slot 0, 1, 60, and 61. 63 is also available to modules that contain no code (resource only modules, like .mui's)

WinMo 6 could allocate slot 0, 1 - (in order of 1 first, 0 last) for a total of 64mb of vm space for modules/files (and the running process is always mapped to slot 0, so once you encroach on this memory space, you are removing available memory to each application running) - you can see how tight this is.

WinMo 6.1 improved on this by opening up slot 60 and 61 (now the allocation order is 61, 60, 1, 0) - but modules could not be allocated here, only files. So for our relocation tools, this was essentially no change. (still only slot 1, 0 for modules) WM 6.1 also introduces the process initvmmap.exe in the MSXIPKernel, NK partition (xip.bin). This process draws a map of all virtual memory, and uses the following registry key from the boot hive (boot.hv):

Code:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Loader\ModuleInfo]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\Loader\ModuleInfo\dllnam e.dll]
"filename.exe"=dword:1
"filename2.exe"=dword:1
This tells the system that the module dllname.dll is only required when filename.exe is running, or filename2.exe is running - and whenever these processes are not running, the virtual memory space is available, and can be dynamically allocated to by the system.

WinMo 6.5 improves on this by opening up Slots 60 and 61 to Modules - yielding an extra 64mb of potential Virtual Memory space. (the allocation order is now 1, 61, 60, 0 for modules, 60, 61, 0 for files) - In order for the Kernel to recognize these new Slots as being mappable for Modules, it must be updated to the 6.5 codebase. This is where the 6.5 nk.exe comes in, and why it's so important.

Profiling Virtual Memory is an important job for an OEM - the less available in Slot 0, the sooner a device will kick back out of memory errors (even if it's not truly out of memory) - and the worse the user experience will be. Some ROM's I have seen have less than 20MB available in slot 0 (and the user experience is as bad as you might imagine) - There are many more intricacies to the whole process - like balancing the load between services.exe and device.exe to best utilize the 32mb VM space available to each, and storing all resource-only dlls as modules so they can be allocated to Slot 63, etc.

This is also why it's important that the re-alloc tools be updated to support the new slots - g'reloc will not ever try to allocate modules to slot 60/61 because as far as it's aware, this is not possible. For the moment I know of 2 tools that will realloc to slot 60/61, wmreloc 2.0, and bepe's Platform Rebuilder (used by ervius vk)

...there seems to be a very noticeable difference between 6.1 & 6.5 kernels...
Anyway, can't wait to try it :)

Best regards,
Draco.

Well, we're doing our internal testing and I have to say this ROM is pretty damn nice.

It might make me use the Athena as my primary device again.

I'm loving it and we still have a little ways to go before a public beta is released but I can say DAMN people. I'm excited about this one.

Keep in mind it'll be a public beta so it wont' be a final like the AP4 ROM for example so be ready to provide LOTS of feedback.

So far...not so good....so DAMN GREAT!!! Great work to AstainHellbring people. He's kicking ass and the team is exceeding expectations. Just wow and so proud to be part of this great team.

This ROM indeed adds to my Must-Patiently-Wait list
The stuff I'm eagerly waiting are:

1. This New ROM (Automatically On Top of course:))
2. Fpsece .10 (full speed PS1 emu, release date uncertain, rumored Sept or Oct)
3. Offline Wikipedia file for Pocket PC download (19 files to go:D)

I hope the ROM could run Fpsece 0.10 with no problems (the leaked and older version of fpsece works in current and older roms). If it does, playing Playstation games would rock on our 5' screens:)

Can I make a request, I mean if it's in the team's specialty, please update Athena USB hosting capabilities...The device can read thumb drives, works on usb keyboard and mouse and memory card readers, but having problems with powered devices in mass storage mode like digital cameras, high capacity flash drives, other phones, hard drive etc.

I think it can be done cause other devices with usb hosting capabilities, like XDA Flame and Toshiba G900 have no problem in connecting with digital cameras and hard drives. All three have PXA 270 processor so maybe tweaking the drivers could help. I have compiled available usb hosting/related drivers here (including Toshiba G900) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=520338 hope the files could help....

Also please include the gamepad driver to the ROM from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=375407 which is working already...

Working on three major bugs, testing some "things" and are hoping to have another internal build to test soon. If the next build goes well we'll release as a public beta and then start working with you guys on improvements.

Hi m8s,

Been a long time since the original ROM cookers came with something new. I would love to try the ROM and give my Athena a second (maybe fourth by now) chance at life. ;)

BETA today? Tomorrow? Please whisper me when you NEED a BETA tester...!

Its been a little more than 24 hours since our last update, How are things going? Any chance of a beta release before the weekend?

Still testing and optimizing. Working on the bugs mentioned and testing some more. Remember, we have real jobs so we don't work on the ROM 24/7. hehehe, although I wish we could. :)

Updates will be posted as available...have no idea if we'll be able to release this weekend for public beta testing but I'm not saying no. If we can we'll get it done...just have to see what our wives and jobs allow of us. :D

This thread started in Nov. A few days back I got excited because of a new ROM due 'very soon'. My 7501 is new to me, new ROMs for the Kaiser are not.

I don't post often.

I wait, listen, hope to learn and provide any info,/assistance I can.

I've waited longer for the US 3G TP2 than I have for this new Athena 7501 ROM.

At least At&t does not make any 'pending statements'....

But what do I know?.....I'm a n00b and I'm starting to feel like a real dummy....

Hope this request push through and thanks for the hard work. God bless

Guess my request is not yet possible...for now...just hope in future builds the team could consider updating USB host drivers and adding the USB gamepad driver...

Anyway if the ROM looks nicer, faster and better than last ROMs, it's good enough:)
