Good for you :) can you explain the motivation? i mean what can we get from G1 that is better than the kaiser?

Jeez - I paid $50 for it new at AT&T last November when it came out (gotta LOVE those rebates).

Not because I'm interested in getting a G1 (just like the Touch Pro, I believe it doesn't have the tilting screen of the TyTN II) but because I want to know just what the hardware is capable of in terms of processing power when proper drivers are used.

It never worked as i hoped and expected. . .:(
my old ipaq 2210 did a better job showing video's and recorded tv shows.
that 's one big reason to sell for me.
the lag when ending a phonecall and screen rotating with sms did the rest.
I like the looks of the new touch HD but that seems also lagging and is not able to play video in its native resolution so it looks like more of the same but then in a higher resolution.
calling it HD and not been able to play native resolution video?
i lost my confidence in HTC for their lack in proper 2D and 3D drivers with my TYTN II, and will not travel the same road with their HD. . . . . .
A standard gsm will do for now, awaiting newer OS and Hardware.
XDA rocks tho!
