touch screen protector problem

I have tilt and have had it about a month. When I got it I installed the screen protector that came with it immediatly. A few days ago it slowley stopped responding to the screen. I removed the protector and it started working again. I put a new protector on and it immediatly stopped working. What I have found is that when it is on the screen it seems to be applying equal pressure to a wide area of the screen causing nothing to be selected. I have adjusted the sensativity both ways without success. Can anyone please help.

I stopped using protectors long ago. This plus the "soft" feel of the plastic, and them getting scratched quickly annoyed me.

had the same problem just cut your pieces a bit smaller, its possible to actually "tuck" them in around the edges. But that is your problem. Im guessing it spreads the light or distorts it to the point that it fuxxorizes the touch.
