Porting Roms to Hermes

I've searched through the threads and haven't found a definitive guide on how to port roms from other HTC devices to the Hermes, the only thread i came across was in reference to the Herald & i'm not sure if the information there applies.

I'm interested in finding out the procedure to do this, and eagerly anticipate the guidance i know i'll find here.
