I noticed after few days (3-4 days) my Diamond becomes slow little bit, I checked memory and still I have 27M free, Nothing in Task Manager , I even closed all the programs, ofcorse SR help.. I guess it's leakage memory or something...
Did some1 measure what is the Diamond uptime without SR ?

Have you tried rebooting? (soft reset). It is a little PC you know. ;)

More of that , if I close all programs I have 35M free
(I even closed TF3D and re open it from today),
after SR (Soft Restet) I have 53M !!!, so where 18M gone ?
With my old P3300 (WM5) I made SR once in 2-3 weeks..

Mine too. calupd.exe seems to hang. The previous time it did that I had to hard reset, but I can't do that every 2 weeks. Does anybody else have this problem? My ROM ver is in my signature.

I find that too. A soft reset helps.

I get similar problems and soft reset a few times a day. I've downloaded fdcsoft taskmanager to troubleshoot by soft resetting and making a note of what is running. I've noticed a few processes leave themselves in memory such as RSS Hub, AlbumSearcher.exe, AudioManager_eng.exe, tmail.exe. I'm sure there's others aswell but you'll need to look at what is running on your device after soft reset as you may have additional programs or different software to me. I am still trying to find others and ways of closing these without having to keep opening the Task Manager.

I found a solution to stop calupdate.exe: just change the time zone and then switch back. Not sure how permanent the solution is, but time will tell... In any case, it's much faster than reset.

Terminate proces "cprog.exe" with some task manager , then press a call button and wait for 6-7 second while phone is come on the screen. It is all what you need :)

By killing cprog.exe it stuck Task Manager itself and after few second cprog.exe becomes "fat" back exacly as it was b4 killing...

I use SKSchema to automatically soft reset my Diamond every day, before I get up in the morning. I'll also keep an eye on memory usage and reset if free memory drops too low (usually anywhere below 40MB free) after using large applications.

This is Windows after all, not Linux - it needs frequent resets but that needn't be a hassle. :)

About the soft reset every day, I still investigate wired and strange behavior,
If I put the Diamond to sleep (charge) b4 Midnight it may get Reboot by itself
during the night (I have no auto backup or something), If i put the Diamond to sleep after Midnight , so no reboot during the night, did some1 can explain this wired behavior ? :)
I don't know if there is connection but If I turn on Diamond lets at 00:30
after Midight , I see the Clock update fast from 00:00 , 00:01 , 00:02 and so on till it arrives to 00:30 (There is other thread about this strange behavior)
All I can say, something happened in Diamond at Midnight.. :)
It's not Linux, but still no needs reboot every day, it should run at least 1-2 weeks without SR

YES , but the memory usage ist lower then befor, for example befor I have 70 % of memory used , after 55 % , and it is normal for Diamond with TouchFlo.

Maybe it help in some cases like it help u, I didn't see any free memory by killing the cprog.exe...(it comes back as it was and free memory remain the same)

I think problem is with app "phone" whitch is in memory 2-4 times, and if you terminate cprog.exe and restart it (with call button) phone app will by only 1 times in memory.
This help you only if Diamond goin too slow (memory usage upper 70 %) and you don`t need restart it.

The best solution for saving memory (TouchFlo3D is working but phone is outside)

"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin"

REG_DWORD from 1 to 0 :)

Is powering the phone off and on the same as soft reset? I power the phone off at night before I go to bed and power it on the next morning. The phone works very well so far.
