MDA Touch Plus..recently just had it back from repair, but they have also done a software upgrade.
Unfortunately now my text messages are threaded and showing "Conversation with" and just the mobile number. Therefore I have to look up my contacts for who is sending me a text message.
Been through all the settings and I have deleted all sim contacts from my contacts list.
Racking my brains here, any help guys how to get it back so i can see contact names again in my messages? I dont mind if they are still threaded so long as I can see who it is.
thanks in advance.

My wife's got the same issue. Just been back to T-Mobile for repair, got the latest firmware installed and now contacts aren't being recognised in the threaded messages.
A temporary fix seems to be to amend the contact mobile number to start +447xxx rather than 07xxx and this seems to work, but as she's got a couple of hundred contacts (uses her phone for work as well as personal use) it's gonna take some time to update them all.
Don't have this issue with either my Diamond or my Trinity (both also running WM6.1).
Any further help appreciated!

One option might be to disable threaded SMS - install this cab and all should be well again.
Hope that works for you!

Youre right, been onto tech guys, this is the only cure at this moment in time. Took me half an hour to change all the contacts to +44 but its workable now. Thanks for your suggestion Martins40
