Has anyone used Diamond with a 3 UK sim card?

As per title.

If the answer is yes can you please describe me how to do it, because I have tried everything and I am becoming frustrated.
I have tried many different radio and windows roms. I should mention that I have used sim unlocker by Olipro.

yes i am using three uk on my diamond actually i have a o2 ignito i put the official 193 rom from htc uk and to do that make sure you hard spl and unlock CID etc.3 uk works great use opera and bookmark http://mobile.three.co.uk use this as your homepage all the three services work fine dont worry about three settings if you have the htc official rom it uses the network wizzard to configure your settings automaticly good luck.

I was using 3 UK with my Trinity before and everything was fine. Now, no matter which rom I install it just doesn't see my sim card. I cannot connect to the network. If I use a T-Mobile or Virgin sim card everything works fine. Should I run unlocker every time I install a new rom or radio version?

no you only need to run once try and run unlocker again and go to your phone settings on phone and make sure that the phone is set on utms or auto maybe you have it set to gsm try that and get back to me

I tried installing this rom but still nothing. Is there a way to do a hard reset, just in case I have done something wrong?

i would recoment to try another 3g sim in your phone sounds like you got a bad sim there if that doesnt work you may have a problem with your radio.

The thing is that I try the same sim in my HTC Trinity and it works absolutely fine. I tried hard resetting but no result either. I'll try now installing radio 1.25.03 from HTC to see what happens.

what unlocker did you use to unlock your htc and do you have hard spl on there

ok i think i know your problem the unlocker you have used has not unlocked the 3g band so i can send you the wright unlocker do you have a email add i can send it to you when you get it follow the steps 1 2 3 and your done read the instructions carfully and goodluck and finally i recomend you flash to the latest htc official rom i sent you the link .

yes the way to check your hard spl is hold down the side volume button down button whilst pressing the reset button by the stylus at the same time when it reboots whatch out for the info on the top left it will say hard spl with v number

here is the unlocker i used this one anyway and three uk worked fine its very easy just make sure you use the hard spl in the files its safe.

It didn't work either... :(

The unlocker was very similar to the one I had bought.
I selected the two first boxes and commited changes. Should I select a CID as well?

Even after unlocking the CID remains: ORANG001

ok make sure you use the hard spl included in the package and 2 yes select all the tick boxes and apply cid sim lock and security all three

I ticked all three boxes of the unlocker and I set CID 0000000. Still no luck. Is there a chance that the 3G function of my mobile is not working? Is there a way to check it?

do you have any warrwnty on your phone i would recomend taking it to get checked out if you cant do this try other 3 g sims ie o2 3g or voda 3g tmob 3g see if yoou can get a 3 reception if you can i think your sim wont work in this phone i do recoment just trying another 3 sim in your phone just to be sure good luck

I do have warranty but it's with Orange. I am not sure if I should ask them to fix it in order to put a 3 sim card. I'll try to find a vodafone or O2 sim card to try.

try and get another 3g uk sim maybe its the sim but try other 3g networks if you get 3g reception with then your radio is fine
