It would be interesting :) I just dont know about the mouse/cursor whatever- I am not a big fan of how it works in Skyfire, is that how you suspect it would be? Got 2 Excaliburs ready to test if you want to give it a shot :)

Sure that would be awesome if you could find a way to emulate the the touch screen, in a usable way.

This would be an amazing accomplishment if you can do it... :)

Sounds great if you can pull it off, touch screen isn't possible on dash though...is it? My dash is yours for the testing as well if you need testers for anything.

I'd prefer a more stable smartphone ROM. After all, this is a phone and I have to be sure that it works when I need it. I don't really expect a PPC rom to run solidly on Dash. Plus I owned a Kaiser before, the PPC rom were not even stable enough on a PPC. And that's why I am back to Dash.

Your Rose rom seems to be really promising, but there are still some kinks to work out. Why not make that one perfect first? :D

I agree, Love the "Rose" rom - The power of the dash is not that good compare to others, Lets make the "Rose" work flawlessly.

Yah lets make the Rose work flawlessly and then we can also do a Professional Rom for the Excalibur, imagine how cool that would be.

It would be awesome to see, but I'm still smitten with Rose and hope to see it get running fully first.

How about just running the PPC version of office on Windows Mobile standard? I've been a PPC user for years and the limited office suite the only real limitation I can't live with!!

He's talking about BruteSource's signature, it says he's overclocked to 266, so n0d saying he's lying about it because at that overclock it would freeze up.

There are also a few other variables.
Just like in a CPU for a pc, a company (MOST OF THE TIME) that makes the processors might make a batch of 3.0 ghz processors, some might not be able to use all regions of the cpu, so they underclock it until it is stable enough, then sell ilt at that set speed.

Some of us might have processors that can go higher then 266, very unlikely but still possible.

i would like to see a flawless version of the rose rom, altho i dont know what problems people are having.

as for a pro rom for the dash id be willing to test it and any software that you would like.

also i would like to see a 6.5 SP rom too, even tho their isnt much of a difference, just to have it.

I think we all want three main things:

1. Functionality
2. Visual Candy
3. Speed

If the 6.1 professional for excalibur can fulfill these wants, then I'm totally up for it. I don't get why M!@050s0t  can't get thing right like Apple :D and Linux. Would be nice to have the ease access to good software like Apple, but I know that's just big dreaming.
