Yes Play youtube videos, go to \Programs\Multimedia\youtube and you k searsh and play the videos.

yes suporte GPS by bluetooth, then you instal the gps program you need like myomap or others.

I dont put The comm manager icon in the release.
To go to the comm manager use the comm manager Button (Button 3)

The battery life is good for me.

Battery output is very low (54mA on idle), one of the best i've tried so far.
Would be nice to have the option of removing HTC Home but otherwise a great ROM.

I had the same problem with the PDA Corner V27 ROM, and had to revert to V23. If this ROM uses the same core as V27, perhaps there is a problem in that core.

It sounds like you hit the "hard reset" issue. I would say, try flashing the stock shipped rom then this one again.

I would do that with any big storage rom.

Seems as fast as any other at the moment and I've been running it for over 24 hrs now with no hard resets so I'll be sticking with it thru the week.

I've noticed some are having sync problems, mine is ok apart from files, it refuses to sync files & folders but I've not had time to play and look into it yet.
Other than that no other issues

I had the same problem with the PDA Corner V27 ROM, and had to revert to V23. If this ROM uses the same core as V27, perhaps there is a problem in that core.

I also had the same problem with PDA's V.27 and Joshkoss's V.10. It does seem to be a problem with the 20759 build.

I went ahead and loaded this ROM to check it out. I figured I could live without MS VC for a few days :)

The apps included really work out for me and I hardly have to install anything.

The /windows directory loads in 1 second..very good

I turned 3g on but for some reason it still doesn't seem to be connecting to 3g. That may just be AT&T so I'm not sure on that one.

It seems my data connection is connected more than usual but I can't be for sure really.

Not sure about battery life yet either since I haven't been using it long enough yet but normally everytime I look at my phone the data connection is going so I'm gonna keep watching that.

So far I really like this ROM I just need to get my MS VC going but I'll survive.

My phone will connect to Vista 32bit but I do have to manually launch Media Device Center for it to do so. If I just plug the phone in it brings up the window to use with media player and some other stuff. The same window that comes up if say I put a DVD ROM in one of my drives.

As far as high speaker volume I don't have that problem. This ROM is just as loud as every other one I have used. Personally I think the Hermes sucks when it comes to volume so you must be very lucky to have one thats so loud. I am always wanting to turn my up when I am in my car with the windows down or somewhere public.

For your information, I think the chef shares what he uses, just like many of the chefs here. Those who doesn't want colours and less sound issue, you might want to try other chefs such as CRCinAU and starbase's So I believe unless you're putting in a 'special order' you will not be heard and 'special donation' is expected.

why is it that i can not get this wm6.1 messaging to connect to MEdia Net for my pop3 email account. I connect in all other applications and Hotmail. Just can not get the POP3 to connect on a send / receive. I just get error synchonizing & cannot connect. in help on what i am missing here would be helpful.

The keyboard symbols are working for me, baybe you need go to Start/System; and then go to Tab System and Advanced Config, and change the Keyboard Language.

I think you may need to install the symbol cab.

Tell you what man! since you've been having such a hard time with these roms and totally crapped out/borderline instulted my name there, can you detail your requirements on a rom and I'de be glad to make one for you.

Sorry for the goof up about your name. I really need to put on glases now. My volume issue is resolved using MeMaid (I disabled Large Title Bar and HTC Volume). I got Symbol PAd from Device Update. I also got HTC Home there but I can't get Manila 2D anywhere so that I can 'flo' through the tabs. I desperately Manila 2d but I also want to install 3D Touch Flo 1.6.2, so that I can use it once in a while. So please tell me whether I can get a cab for Manila 2d and whether I can also install 3D Touch Flo Cube at the same time (so that I can play with it once in a while).

Well, for me this ROM was very unstable. 5 hard resets in 10 hopurs!! Moreover, I ccould not install most of the programmes in the storage card. I had to do it in the main memory, thereby drastically reducing my storage availability. Earlier these programmes like Opera 9.5 beta, Resco Explorer and MemMaid etc. could be easily installed in the storage card. Now these are refusing to get installed in card. What do I do??

In wen you upgrade to a a Big Storage ROM,do first the method to resolve the Hard Reset issue with BigStorage ROM's from the Dr Puttingham.

The problem with the normal storage roms are normal now, Download and run the official AT&T 3.52 ROM (http://rapidshare.com/files/82291010/RUU_Hermes_CINGULAR_WWE_3.62.502.3_6275_1.54.07.00 _108_UOOS_SVN05_Ship.exe.html) first and that solv your problem.

I upgrad it to at&t wm6 and everything works great I just replace the full housing for the at&t 8525 and love it better than the ugly mda vario 2 look and I just wandering if this is all I need to go to 6.1 and but I want to keep my at&t settings eny help is very appreciate it thanks

Please let me tell you that I downloaded this ROM in my HTC 8525, it has the same problem ALL those ROMs have: when you use the hardware keyboard, the Sym and äü keys don't work any more (and it uses a LOT of battery), the rest looks pretty good, any way to fix the keyboard issue? I tried downloading the Sym pad coming in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=308128 but it is not the solution. Thank you!!

Couldn't agree more, I do like PDA corners v25 which I have on my other Hermes but this ROM has stayed with me for over a week now with regular use and no hard resets and a week on the same ROM is good for me so until something better comes along then this is here to stay.

Well, after some days using this, it shows somethings are not under control, the integration with Windows Mobile features like Alarm is terrible (you are just NOT woke up as it does not sound), you select no sounds on keys or screen hits and it does, battery is gone super fast. The good news is that the "updater" allowed me to update the Symbol Pad. The bad news is that the "updater" updates your unit with very OLD software and it does not ask you where you want to install them, so I personally don't know where it is installing the soft. Even if you install newer software than the one already installed coming with the ROM, it is not detedted by the installer and you have for example one copy of Clear Temp 1.0.2 and one copy of Clear Temp 1.1 (the new version)
Let me ask you if you would have the chance to check all those things (I'm glad to give you feedback) as the ROM has some features very interesting (may be the 6.1 is not for HTC 8525 though). Thank you

To add one more problem. Getting out of standby mode, not sure if only connected to the power (I think I tried on battery and I had both, good and not good result) the WiFi does not connect any more, it keeps trying ad eternum, if you disable and enable the WiFi from Com Manager it immediatelly locks (the wireless Access Point is 20 cm away...). Thank you

A great ROM! Very stable, very fast & not too bad on the battery.
I am currently using with S2U & was wondering if anyone else was using this combination. I am having problems with never being able to pick up a call & have resorted to using Advanced Config to allow 'any button answer', this however does not allow me to deny a call.
Any ideas???

I turned 3g on but for some reason it still doesn't seem to be connecting to 3g. That may just be AT&T so I'm not sure on that one.

Did you manage to solve the 3G issue? I have the same problem and is certian area where with previous rom I used to have 3G now I only have G!!

Let me start by thanking people who had worked to develop "RDZ-ROM-STORM-5_0_02" its really good. I like the interface, but some times its hanging and if i want to do a soft reset its not doing the soft reset going to hard reset as well not rebooting... hanging in the middle. which is pretty much non-responsive mode.

i have flashed this in my Imate JASJAM.

Does anyone have same issues. Im trying the other one (randomize_wm6.1_storm_v2.10_rom_wwe_full) will let you know abt this as well..

If anyone has a final good WM6.1 then please do post the link.
