Excalibur (Dash) Stoped working?

Hey,

I was messing around with my Dash last night and I installed the HTC streaming media player and after that the phone was acting weird. Then I had the jogger set to be a JOGGER instead of the volume control. After I did both of them it started to act really weird. The player worked, I was watching one of my youtube videos and it started to act up. So I turned it off and it won't turn back on. I can't seam to get it to work now. I can't get the hard reset to work either. It chargers, but still won't come on. The charging light turns green when its at full charge.


Any ideas?

well try removing the battery and putting it back in... Then hold down the camera (sym) button to the right of the space bar for about 5 seconds and while still holding it down plug it into the usb and upload the official rom the phone came with... The link to the official rom could be found below in my signature... Then once you get the official rom going you can then upgrade to the 6.1 (Ricky's or Kavana's) or to the Rose Rom (NRG's)... if you would like to...

I did that and got a red green blue and white screen. How do I upload the new rom?

When you are on the tri colour screen, on the computer click the original ROM file.exe and follow the steps.

I got it! But but after all the install and everything it still won't power on :(. I think the power button may be broken. Because none of the codes that involve the power button work. I was on a ride and maybe something hit the dash and broke the button. It makes a rattling noise.

Is there another way to turn it on without the power button?

Come to think of it.... it wouldn't turn off until I installed HTC and it said would you like to reboot and I said yes and the power button didn't do anything... Then after it rebooted then then it was weird and the power button didn't work so I took the battery out... I think it might be a broken power button!



Yep I tested it.... I'm almost sure its the power button. But it keeps saying invailed or missing sim, but my sim is in?


Any ideas??
