This is related to my other post "Cannot install Goodlink".

While trying to figure out why GoodLink cannot be installed, I have flashed several differnet ROMs but in no vain. I noticed that the Call Duration remains the same and is not erased. I even took the SIM out but the numbers are still there. Does this mean that my flashing does not erase everything?

If flashing a new ROM does not erase all the info, maybe thats why I keep getting the same error when trying to install GoodLink, no matter which ROM i flash...

Any ideas ?

I do not believe that that is the reason. It is normal that call duration remains as it shows the usage of the phone. It could prevent for example that a hermes is sold as new when it is not the case. Btw, those data are not stored in the area where roms are flashed. There are unofficial ways to reset the call duration counters. But as some other persons here, i find a bit suspicious to do that ;)

Oh, just a small point. Why to open a new thread as you have already started one on this subject?

Thanks for the update.

I do not want to flash the counters, i just thought it might be related. I started a new thread because its a different topic so its better off to keep separate.

apologies if this is not the common practice in this forum
