I did a hard reset before passing on my beloved Wiz to a friend (well, my boss! )
Lo and behold, the battery is at like 70% after one phone call... kinda embarassing. He goofed around with it a bit more, and it's really losing battery when he makes calls. I haven't had an issue myself with that, but then I have mainly used it for watching videos, but it's been fine at that for hours at a time before. I am considering that it might be bad connection for the phone providor, but I doubt it.
Anyone heard of anything similar? Any advice if I were to do another hard reset?

As a Friend....
Dont sell a phone to a closely friend of yours... I think he dont like it thats all and he wants his money back.
As a technisian....
Recomends him to buy a High capacity battery. i think that is diying. :o
As a XDA developer member...
Are you on a custom ROM? original? reflash it with the three steps to avoid the Batt drain issue... but what ROM do you have? :)
We need more info men!
See you soon!

Hi! He likes the phone fine, he used to have one before, and I watched the battery drain myself. But thanks for the advice :)
I will indeed look into buying a new battery, but I am very curious about you mentioning "reflash it with the three steps", what does that mean? I am on a regular installed rom right now, I might have updated it myself in like 2006 (it's a qtek 9100 rom if that makes any diff).
I really appreciate the help, and sorry for making you explain it to me like I am a three year old :D

Maybe i have 2 years old in windows mobile world so... im so new in this hahahah LOL!!!! :p
So.. three steps (be sure your batt is every steps at 100%)
1.- Get fully charged your batt at 100% first... then make a hard reset (wait to boot completely)
2.- Downgrade to an original Rom.. (if you are under 6.1 so... try the 2.26 wm5 Tmobile and let it boot completely)
3.- Upgrade to your favorite Wm6.1 or 6 (is your choice) without unplug your phone let it boot completely. And make again a Hard reset.
NOTE: if you are not unlocked please first do the unlock process
(the Win mobile 5 original dont have Batt drain issue so if your device is virgin its for sure that the batt is almost dead)
