I've done a lot of searching, and I just can't seem to put the steps together on how to build themes and skins. Does anyone have a step by step guide they've put together on how to do it and what software to use?
I don't want to get flamed, but, I know after someone does something for awhile, it's easy to forget how hard it was getting started. I'm willing to put in all the work I need to, I just don't even know where square one is yet.
Thanks in advance.
And I don't have a problem donating! ;)

Check this out, I know I've seen it here and I just read it over at MoDaCo...

ThemeGenCE (http://www.codeppc.com/telechargements/themegence/themegence.htm)

I have'nt used it personally, it could be worth looking at.:)

Hi,

ThemeGenCE is the best Theme maker for WinMob devices. I use this all the time and it's easy to use.

I see you're Christian also. I have made some and found other Christian themes if you're interested. I have attached some as a sample.

I can't seem to upload the ThemeGenCe file, but if you do a search, you'll find it easily. It's also freeware.

Thanks for your compliments.

I post here because you do not seem to accept pm !

I have analyzed your themes uploaded here and I find 3 themes that are not created with ThemeGenCE but with FunnySnake TkCreater :

Jesus2
Jesuspraying
Passion of Christ
And with the official version of ThemeGenCE, my programs cannot open these themes. I have an error in reading.

I debugged my programs and found that the files in your TSK (TSK are in fact Cabs) have their Dates and Times set to ZERO ! So, my program (and the 2 others MSCEInf and BrowseThemeCE which also open TSK) hangs there, by trying to decode date and time.

I have now handled this problem and now it works for these themes.
Maybe published in the future...

Regards,
Benoît

Yes, I love our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ!
Thanks for the attached themes, I love them. Especially the Passion of the Christ theme.
I see you're a Aliens fan too! IF I can get good at theme making, first a Christian theme, then an Aliens theme :p

Thanks for your input. The Christian themes, except the three mentioned by you, are not my work. They are part of a pack I have. The very first Themes I made were using TKCreator, that is, until discovered themeGenCE. They do all open ok for me. That's odd.

All my themes are now created with themeGenCE.

Is ThemeGenCE the only option?
