Clean Rom WWE removed

roms are only on my harddrive.

removed: pictures, sounds, HTCHome, quickGPS, rss hub, streamingplayer, touchflo (can't remove icon), onenote, welcomecenter, audiomanager, adobereader, clearvue, excel, powerpoint, word, games, format microdrive, clear storage (can't remove icon), voice speed dial, voicerecorder, worldcard

changed: splash, startupanim (added startupsound), startuproutine (some steps will be skiped, no automatic installation from extended rom)

works again: vueflow

edited: some rgu-files, xml-files

connections must be set by user (mms, isp, network)

I do have to say a nice clean rom and very fast. Just need to add the connection setup in it. I truly enjoy the speed. Keep up the good work.

Just finished flashing the 2nd untested ROM - fast as promised, although Internet Explorer doesn't work. No matter what I tried it simply kept on giving an error message about the address being invalid. Opera works fine on the ROM and it certainly has nothing to do with connectivity.

There are 2 "Connection Setup" icons under Settings > Connections, but neither does anything.

Overall I think these are minor issues and I'm impressed by the ROM.

first of all nice work xacsx, really nice work. light and fast rom. the only problem I have found till now is that I cant get IE to connect to any site.

Did anybody tested it on an original full ROM, I mean the one from CMONX package? Maybe the problem is in the source of your ROM?
If the original ROM does not have this issue then the problem came out of some components being removed.

Cmonex's ROM doesn't have this problem. I flashed her ROM when she first released it and tested this ROM afterwards.

While this ROM is fast and has VueFlo, I had a better experience with Cmonex's, so I changed back to hers.

ok, i have tryed to customize the new rom. i put one file (a simple pic) in this rom, and the internet explorer wont connecting. i have tryed out with all other roms, the same problem. all programs with internetconnections are working, opera also works.

i dont make another version of the WWE-Rom (i dont need this, i'm german). if you want other romreleases, wait for the roms of the ap-team and/or michyPrima.

ok xacsx, no problem. i think most of us use opera as default browser. is it possible to remove entirely internet explorer? it is better to remove it since it is useless if it cannot connect.

cmonex roms are the originals. the vueflow-settings are also in my roms, i dont have removed this, i have repaired the setting.lnk for this (GSensor-Settings (aka VueFlo)).
but you are right, everybody can flash a rom he likes...

i have changed the downloadlink. the available rom has no internet-explorer-lnk, and it will install opera by customization, so you can deinstall it, if you find another browser you like.

I am very interesting in trying your ROM. But I would like to use RealVGA with my Ameo 16, and, I would like to use it in 128dpi. Do you have any experiences with that? The Original T-Mobile ROM has a lot of problems with RealVGA (in German). What about yor ROM?

Hi Xacsx,

I didn't mean to sound critical of your ROM - regardless of the IE error it is very fast and seemed quite stable.

As others have pointed out most (all?) of us use Opera anyway and aren't affected by whether IE is working or not.

i think, the last release works fine. but i dont no why i should make another release of the WWE-rom, because i dont need the wwe-rom. its not so easy to customize a rom, to control all 2500 files/rgu/xml/exe/lnk/dsm and delete the right things, edit the right files and so on. so i will work on the german rom for next time.
if anybody find bugs/errors on the last v3WWE-rom, then I will try to eliminate it.

yes u r right, u dont need a wwe rom but cooking wwe u r helping us. other cookers here are italians germans etc but they help this community.if they were supporting only their language then we shouldnt have all these results here and even you could never learn everything u have learnt in this forum.because like the rest of us u were a newbie asking stupid questions that they had a very simple answer, answered by italians,chinese and other ppl.or u knew everything about pocket pcs since u were born?
by the way in the 3rd version the three original ringtones dont work.when i am trying to choose one of them an error occurs.i have written all my thoughts about your rom in private messages.dont know if u have seen them.thanx again for your rom.

maybe you remember me, I sell my X7510 about the bad usage / handing of X7510 ;-) After that i bought a HTC shift, there is the handling better, but the WM ROM even worse than the X. Do you think as X ROM Expert, that we can flash the X Rom for testing to the Shift ? ;-)

Buddy, I think you're out of order. Here's a few reasons why:
1) If you can't do better than him, then pipe down
2) If you CAN do better than him, stop moaning and do better
3) ROM cooking takes time. He's given his time AND skills to build the ROMs available here. Show some gratitude
4) You don't HAVE to use his ROMs

If a cook makes a mistake with a ROM, by all means tell them about it, but don't moan about it.
If a cook doesn't want to cook any more ROMs then respect their decision

I am one of the members here that try xacsx's roms and give feedback and suggest changes for a better rom. You are the one that talks rubbish about his roms instead of appreciate his work and make specific suggestions. YEAH man u like cmonex roms better. No one asked you if you like cmonex roms better. i dont accept donations from non-german users?? hmm, everybody who wants from me to do something for him can donate my job. i spend a lot of time to build/edit the roms for wwe, because i dont need the wwe-roms. so, if you want to donate my job, do this, and ill spend my time to work again on WWE-roms.
the german V3.1 is very hard to realize, but ill do my best for the peoples they are waiting for this rom.
i think, im not the only one who can cook roms, and maybe it gives one guy that give you the rom you want in english.

I wasn't trying to teach you anything about ROM cooking, nor this community. I felt (and still feel) that your comments were unwarranted for an open forum.

Agreed, xacsx doesn't need my "protection", so just as well I wasn't giving any, isn't it? He does however deserve my respect and grattitude, and both he has.

I may or may not like Cmonex's ROMs best - what does it matter? Like many (most?) here I flash a new ROM every so often and I will undoubtedly flash more of xascx's ROMs. Now I rely heavily on my device and on some functionality it delivers. If ANY ROM doesn't quite deliver what I need then I'll try another, or perhaps revert to a ROM that met my needs closer. Are you now saying there a problem with this approach?

Oh and SHOCK!!! HORROR!!!! Cmonex's ROMs aren't her own, you say!!! Tell somebody that cares, like the Samaritans. She released the 1st ROM that we could flash to our devices, so I'll continue to call it her ROM.


Other than that I will bow to your clearly superior levels of experience in everything in the whole wide world. Damn, we're blessed to have somebody with SO MUCH experience in our midst!
