5way notification circle of light

I have a vodafone UK Treo Pro and I can't get this working. The option is set in the beacon tab to light up when a voice message is received.

Any ideas?

Do you get sms voicemail alerts. We have that here in Oz and so therefore can't get the beacon notification....

Yes we do. How does that effec the beacon function then?

Not sure, I searched for a solution as I thought it was a cool feature but all my searching came up with the above reason...maybe the beacon notification is a network feature, and you can't have both.:confused:

I have an unlocked Treo Pro that I use in hte UK on Vodafone. The "beacon" lights up on mine when I have voicemail, but unless you're in a darkened room it's very hard to see! Would have been better with a good old red LED rathern than the white one I think.

To get the 5-way to light up call voicemail (121 on vodafone uk) and navigate to options. Change the notification to 'icon notification' then it works fine. Mine was set on sms notification by default.
