hard reset problem

How do i fix my imate jam, it auto reset/ hard reset after i remove battery or replace sim. files and programs i install always be remove.

here my info:

rom version: 1.12.0 WWE
Rom date : 05/28/05
radio version: 1.13.00
Protocol version: 1337.43
ExtRom version: BIG STRORAGE

upragrading to 1.13 rom soon..


please i need help with this

your problems (1 or 2; 2 or 1; 1 and 2):
1. bad backup battery (that be under speaker)
2. bad battery signal button (that is small lever under cap)

2. сигнализатор одетой крышки вышел из строя (маленький рычажок, находится под крышкой, которая закрывает батарею; на правой стороне корпуса)

I really appreciate the post.
My problem is both 1 and 2.

3. I don't thinks battery, cause when i soft reset (power + reset button) it do hard reset(goes back to begining- reinstall OS)

just finished upgrading, using NL 1.13 rom bs + 1.13 radio from ftp, but with the same prob.

here new info:

i'm browsing from this device, badly need your help.

PS.
I'm starting to think that its the backup battery cause I always make this device battery empty.
