yes! you can install other apps in this rom also must install the fix for att keyboard because this using htc rom..

you can use on manila portrait.. you can not read sms or email on manila ladnscape.. you can read on landscape in windows mode..

M2D was ported from a phone without a hard keyboard, so the lanscape does not work properly. Like Bob said just open open your message in portrait then flip the keyboard out :)

4. Flash the rom (after flash is good to do a Hard reset)

5. for what patch you speak? the only keyboard patch you must install is if you have TILT.. you must install the patch keyboard for tilt users

I like the rom a lot. it is very fastest Ive everf lashed and im sure the nonmanila oneis even faster. But I have a question. I used mUdc manila customizer and changed the touchflo theme to a different one...specifically the allabaster one i found after googling...but now landscape doesnt work...something I didntt hink about before changing the theme. and I did not backup my original touchflos ettngs/theme using the customizer....so Iw as wondering how I should go about reverting back to the original theme where landscape worked....Should I just apply the black theme using m2d customiser or what? I really dont wanna flash the rom again or sacrifice landscape. Please tell me what to do. By the way pardon all my typing mistakes..I am typing this from my Kaiser in Opera haha. LAstly...If all I have to do is apply the manilla black theme...plz someone post the linl on ths thread to download it/the correct one. Thanks

in jade and opal comm manager wifi crash randomly.. the easy way is to tap settings and after wifi open the wifi from there then you have again working button you have already "fix" the problem ;)

GPS works very well ( thought it depends on the radio, but still)
WIFI works very well.
Bluetooth works very well.
No glitches. Very fast and responsive. Very sensible selection of the bundled software ( not bloated)
Very smart looking with taste.
It is very fast. I was using L26KDV12Full (excellent rom) but this one is my selection for a lond time.

Has anyone else had this problem? I just switched to the tilt couple days ago. Went through the Hard SPL as instructed and flashed flashing AthineOS 3.0 (which is GREAT btw). I just have this issue with it freezing up continuously. If I want to click the start menu or any other button including soft buttons, I have to press it few times before the screen recognizes it. This is my second time flashing it.

By far my favorite ROM. and ive flashed quite a few! ony problem is when i have the keyboard out, and am browsing the internet, the screen will flip upside down when i receive a text msg, or if a website asks me to save a password. any fix for this? thanks so much!

Both interfaces are equally stunning and beautiful. I've experimented with quite a few cooked ROMs. AthineOS is hands down the BEST! I love both the Manila and HHome in this ROM. I must say, some other Manila implementations in other ROMs were problematic when I tried, but not this one. Very impressive. I can see myself switching between the two Today UIs from time to time. So, my dilemma, should I flash the HHome Athine 3.2, then add Manila package, or flash the Manila Athine ME 3.0, then add HTC_home afterward? Any recommendations?

put out the battery for 30sec
open it and flash again the new downloading rom

i don't including the 3g dialer because many user want the opal dialer.. so i have the cabs in post #3
so you can choise.. also i including one keyboard..
i have the network wizard in cab in post #3 because if this cab settings your internet settings.. you can remove it after.. is not need it anymore..

I think it might be because of PIM Backup. When loading some of the messages back, it slows down the phone. Decided not to restore anything at all and just use Active Sync and seems to be working fine. Will report back in a day or so after proper usage to see if it still lags.

Also, using Manila 2D Customizer and removing some of the tabs also helped in performance on the today screen!

ok i tried the 1.70XXXX radio and it uses around 1% battery an hour in sleep mode. I think that's pretty decent. I haven't done the usage test yet..

after 2 weeks using this amazing rom i have to say: wow! fastest rom i ever used on my tilt, very stable, no issues whatsoever.

only one thing to make it perfect: is it possible to mark sms as read after reading them with the messenger tab? now you have to open every message with pocket outlook.

what do you think missing from this rom?

I'm stumped for what to say, have been a PDA user since got Tilt have flashed many ROMs and tend to end up back to PDA, will give your ROMs a shot again soon as to be honest off the top of my head can't remember why i didn't stay with M2D could have been something very simple that no one else would have even put into the E=Mc2.
No discrispect meant as you are a great chef and i admire all the chefs and what they bring to XDA.

the SMS arent marked as READ ... for example... if you send me 7 SMS .. i have to open your thread and then close it .. this 7 times to mark it as read .. because they are marked as read one by one ...

i recently flashed hardspl 3.29 .. i had the 3.28 ... its possible that this problem is from the spl ? or a bad spl flash ?

I cannot connect to ActiveSync anymore. All of a sudden my PC wont recognize the phone. I used to get an option of Active sync or internet sharing when i plugged the USB cable in, but not anymore. Phone charges fine though.

Any ideas?

I reinstalled AS and disabled advanced network functionality.

first of all...great rom
i fix one of the problems that my phone was lagging all the time and the tip about not using the pimbackup and use the outlook did the job.
but now i have another problem
whan i need to input information like start up my email account, i start typing the information but i dont see the typing on the screan only one letter at the begining of the line but the information is writen i just cant see what, if i press ok the phone will conferm the info and will prossed with the prosses but i cant see if i did any misteak in the writing.
can you do some thing about it?

always coming this issue randomly in comm manager from JADE so if you don't have it on usb or you not coming again back from settings and wi-fi you must do a hard reset i don't know another way :(

you can change the read only with total commander.. but if go many pages back you can found solution..

so.. you have install something and creating this problem.. or bad flash..
try to flash again the rom
if you have titl use 3.56 HSPL if you have htc,orange,vodafone.. use the 3.29 HSPL

and radio 1.65.xx.xx or 1.70.xx.xx or 1.71.xx.xx

1. you have freezes with the AthineOS screen before change it?
because other 2 users with TITL have problem with radio and had freezes but not anyone said have problem with deferent skins..

2. I don't think you have problem with this you change only the skins but also coming here with problem.. so i don't what must say :confused:

3. I uploading ME with build 21109 so wait..

4. Is Opera 2745 and updated to 2808 with my update fix

Ok nevermind... of course after searching for so long and couldn't find it... I find it 5 minutes after posting lol

Here is the solution:

Adjusting the taskbar indicator for battery & clock

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\ShowTitleBarClock

The values can be :
0 = Battery
1 = Clock (may cause dialer app to pop up)
2 = Nothing
3 = Both

The ROM is really fast but there is one little thing that I tried to fix but could not and annoys me.

The "Alarm" sign/picture/text below the clock is missing and I thing this entry is responsible for it in the HTCHomeConfig

If you want manila's analog, install some theme that has analog. Somehow bob's don't have it. Back up your theme first using M2DC .. so that if you screw it up, you can restore it. Manila is a bit sensitive with incorrect theme / xml ..

Hi, i flashing my device with "02-03-09 AthineOS ME". I have no problems, but Activesync can not connect. I know the problem is checkbox in Settings/Connections/PC to USB, there must be such an option, but to me is gone!

What to install to occur?
I tried with Connection Setup.cab (different versions), but only appear Connection Wizard :(.

Can anyone help me?


Added: Activesync not connected, but the flash program find it and I just flash another ROM.
