HELP ! bricked my NIKI100 [Upgrade ROM code error] need support!!

Hi guys,
Here's what I did (something very stupid) and what happened :

I have a NIKI100 which has simlock and HAD a vodafone dutch splash screen with original rom and radio.

I followed the instructions and managed to flash a new rom with
RUU_Nike_HTC_NLD_2.09.404.1_Radio_NikeMR_1.65.28.2 5_signed_Ship.exe

I still had SIMlock so I started over the procedure with Niki-SuperCID
Here I made the STUPID mistake to hardspl while I FORGOT to SSPL first!
so this is what happened next: rom update halted at 95% I got error and began
recovery. (1) Ever after this I get ERROR[262] whatever I try and update halts at 0%.
I tried to flash the ROM again but then I get error [294]:INVALID VENDER ID

everytime I reset the phone I get red-green-blue screen :

NIKI100
SPL-1.22.0000
CPLD-4

Upgrade ROM code error
please try again


I tried hardspl but I get (1)

Iknow I was stupid to forget SSPL first, but how do I get my phone back to work again ? any help would be very appreciated !!

Not sure where I read it here, but you will need mtty. In there (for me it took several tries to get it to connect) type "set 16 0" - then "task 8".

I did the MTTY with set 0 16 then task 8 and it worked!!!

hi .. what exactly did you do ? i have the exact phone, exact error, exact program, downloaded from the attachement, and when i connect with mtty i can`t type in the console, only paste, and it doesn`t do anything for me. can you please explain what exactly did you do ? thanks

don`t mind my post, i`m sorry i`m blind .... i was connecton thru com ports, i didn`t notice the usb button ... jeez i`m stupid, anyway connected thru usb , typed the commands and it rebooted with the windows 6.1 .. works perfectly now. thanks for your post and mtty attachment, very helpfull
