No color strips :(

Hi everybody:
I'm very excited because I didn't know it's possible to upgrade my XDA IIS WM2003 to WM6. I read very carefully all the instructions in order to avoid any possible mistake. It's very sad I must confess... I couldn't even begin with the upgrade! I followed the Instructions :
* How to Hardreset a WM5 BA device
Doing a hardreset is easy if you have 3 hands - softreset (see above) and then as soon as you see THE STRIPS
THAT'S MY PROBLEM I do the softreset but my phone screen doesn't show THE STRIPS. As soon as I do softreset I get the following O2 image

Please help me out, I know this wonderful cell phone is great but i feel stuck in WM2003 :(
