Ringer quits

I have had a Touch Cruise for many months. I have had an ongoing problem with the ringer. About every two weeks the ringer quits. The vibrator works, but the ringer quits. The phone makes noise for various other operations. The only way to get the ringer back is do a hard reset.

Any ideas?
