is the method for solving out the error260 of upgrade process, given at http://forum.xda-developers.com/archive/index.php/t-299657.html
that says: "rename the RUU_Signed.nbh in Hard-SPL-V4 to HERMIMG.nbh and put it on an SD card, put the SD card in your hermes and reload the bootloader (the buttons and stylus)" a correct one?
can i adopt it in case of Hard-SPL-V.7?

If i understand correct you still got the stock bootloader (SPL1.10)
Please install Hard-SPL-V7 first. Refer to the dedicated thread how this could be done :)
As far as i know SD-card flashing of OS is only possible with Hard-SPL installed on hermes. Anyway Hard-SPL is also recommended to prevent a brick.

Hard SPL is required to flash with the sd card.... You'll just end up with an error message otherwise...
