rw6815 no gsm rom / imei detected?

i've reflashed my rw6815 (original ipaq) with the latest rom (original hp rom), and now my gsm part is not detected anymore. with the selftest of gsm /imei i get the message that the gsm module is not detected? i am running bootloader 1.05. any suggestions how to get it to work again? i tried reflashing the same latest hp rom several times. is there a way to only upgrade / reinstall the radio=gsm rom?
