Played around with it a bit, have a few issues.

About a minute after turning the phone on, Connection Setup pops up with an error saying:

The operator does not exist in the database. Please contact your operator for the connection settings.

Connection Setup will redirect you to the Connections screen.


I also have an issue with Windows Live that was cooked into the rom, it doesn't do anything when I try to log in, and it won't let me install a different, working version.

Other than those two things it seems like a nice rom, but I need to get windows live working to get all of my contacts..

first 'issue' is not an actual issue. this little app will show up saying it didnt find your network settings if they dont exist in the database automatically. V20 has come with this option disabled though. you can always go and disable it.

just in case someone wants to get in touch with the chef or read about their discussions in their environment. :•D

hey nice suggestion, but i visited PDAVIET forum n there is no sign of english language there, there posts are of some different language....

from all Manilla Roms i tried so far, phamquang V18 is best , good performance n stability.....

V18 cannot select GSM network manually if i m not wrong !!!

Currently using V19, only Large Start Menu blinking white colour , other than that, the best ever M2D Rom at the moment...

Will try V21 and feedback soon ....

Great ROM, fast, to me it almost same like V19:
- Large Start Menu blinking "white" colour while been tapped.
- In Comm Manager - Setting tab, no respond on WiFi setting....
- Still preferred original M2D background image...

ok here is the thing i wanna ask....i tried V18, the manila in that ROM is different than other versions(19,20 and 21)...by different i mean that its easy to slide manila from home to other tabs, in other versions, it wont slide...

it's vietnamese, which obviously i dont speak, but i seen some folks there posting messages in english and they respond. you can always use google translator... won´t work 100% but will give a rough idea what they're discussing.

besides it's good to have a link to their forum as like we've seen before there are just too many people here asking for help and almost always being left in silence. you can tell by looking at V18/V19 and V20 threads.

had the same problem but got activesync to work fine over bluetooth however, bluetooth obex won't work. phone wont accept files at all, tried installing a bluetooth obex fix cab i found also tried using moblue but no joy.

slipped back to V20 but will keep an eye on updates as i quite like this version's manilla colour scheme.

oh gosh im so glad you wrote that, mate :-D

this rom does look good but the problems are so annoying it reminds of V19! if I could've found a way to make that activesync thing to work i would've sticked to it a bit longer.
