Problem deleting files with wacky file names

I have a leftover cache folder in internal memory from an install of Dashwire which contains 4Mb of files which I cannot delete... The files have strange characters such as boxes and copyright symbols in the file names which prevents me from doing anything with them (including renaming them). I tried reinstalling Dashwire which got rid of some of the files but not all.

None of the file managers I have tried are able to delete them and I haven't had any joy from the Dashwire forums.

Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated !

ever try to backup everything on your memory card (except the one with block or something), and then format it ??

Yeah, because it's my internal memory I was hoping not to have to do that :) But might have to by the looks of things...

Tried Cleantemp from Vicott Wong? Perhaps it helps........
