Ive flashed a custom rom (HTC_HERMES_S64_WM_6.1_TouchFlo2D_UC_ WWE v4) on my hermes (herm200), right after flashing i saw the No GSM error. So i reset and removed my battery for a few seconds. Fixed the problem for 2 days, recieving sms & calls just fine. After 2 days it returned.

How can i restore this problem?

Ive tried the following:
- soft reset + remove battery 30mins (still no gsm, but os works)
- hard reset + remove battery 30mins (still no gsm, but os works)
- reflash the custom rom (still no gsm, but os works)
- flash a different custom rom (still no gsm, but os works)
- flash a 1.51 radio only (stuck at 0%)
- flash a 1.56 radio only (stuck at 0%)
- flash originial WM6 rom (stuck at 12%)
- flash original WM5 rom (doesnt start communication error)
- mtty.exe method from the wiki "no gsm" hints
- SSPL-HERM.exe method

Anything i might have overseen looking for a fix? Kinda thought flashing with hard spl was fairly safe but looks like i was wrong ;-(

I don't believe Hard SPL was the problem. The Hermes seem to have a problem with the radio after a while. It could be a chip on the MB is overheating, a problem with the radio antenna or anything.
Flashing Hard SPL is a must if you want to flash new roms and saying that Hard SPL is the culprit may make noobs not do it causing a lot of problems.
The fact your GSM is missing after flashing it may just be a coincidence.
So saying, if you've tried to re-install the shipped stock rom and a standalone radio rom then it seems your radio rom memory may be corrupted. This means your phone won't work but you can still use as a PDA.
Sorry...:(

Could flashing the original SPL result in flashing the shipped rom succesfully?
Thus removing hard spl and returning it in factory state?

Tried making a usb log but the ansi text file is a whopping 104 mb

I think the problem lies here, after the Restore ExtRom Complete it says:
"Port read timeout!!!"
"AUX_process FAIL, reason 2, dwRead=0, dwWritten=41.."
"+Port1 did not get connect"

No, once the meory is corrupted on the radio rom it is pretty much unrecoverable. At leas, no ones succeeded yet.
