Rogers and Diamond, any info???

I am getting very impatient now, I keep finding tidbits that indicate Rogers will be getting the Diamond soon but nothing official. Anyone else hear anything?

Okay, I will answer my own question. I was at a Best Buy Mobile in Markville Shopping Center and they had a dummy Diamond and the sign said "comming soon". It is as I have heard from a tech rep at Rogers, the original thin hard black back (900 Mah battery) and has the front facing camera. The salesman didn't know when it would be out, but since he had the dummy figured there was no reason not to put it out.

I am aware that there's a Diamond version for Telus. I doubt that Rogers will roll out a Diamond since they already carry the Iphone and BB Bold. I am waiting for the price to drop and buy the GSM version since they come in Quad-Band as well is a plus!

Well, unless I have been lied to by several people, Rogers is getting it soon. Best Buy Mobile in Vaughn Mills said their Rogers rep was in a few weeks ago and it is part of their "Holiday Hype" promotion. A customer tech rep at Rogers said he was on technical training and the phone had the hard plastic back and the front facing phone. And I was at a retail outlet the other day and a salesman had a photo copy of the "Holiday Hype" phones and the Diamond was on it. Now, I suppose it could be a a big conspiracy but if it is they have done a good job of leaking tid bits of information because not all the sales locations know about it. Plus, why would Best Buy Mobile be given a dummy phone by the HTC rep to display and have a "comming soon" sign attached to it?
