Hi there! This is my first post and, first of all excuse me for my english :o.
As a PC user, I always tried to have a good working PC, like all of us I like a smooth and fast performance, no errors, no spyware/virus, no registry issues, no useless hidden (or not)files/folders, no useless programs starting up with Windows, etc, etc. A year ago I started to experiment this: A clean Win XP installation and no more installations (except for an antivirus), but use of so called "portable software", many of them are .exe files only (you know, those created for use in thumbdrives). So no folders creation, no registry entries, no nothing. Perhaps I loose some system integration, but my Win XP installation keeps almost clean.
I tried to do in a similar way with my Tilt. Since I have no portable version of the phone software I decided to install the programs I use like audio players, games, utils., etc. in the micro SD card, then I do a hard reset to get rid of the bloatware, the folders (many programs even installed in SD card creates folders in the phone´s memory) and registry entries of the installed programs, once the phone is working properly I test the applications on the SD card (executing them from there), if they work ok I make the respective shortcuts in Windows/Start Menu/Programs, and that´s it.
I only want to share what I´m doing now, if it is good for someone, good.:)
