hi all :)

is it possible to make use of the built-in camera mp4 (h264) encoder in a third-party app? the problem is: when i record clips using standard htc software (6.00 build 31516) it creates nice and small mp4 files but in case i want to record them with some other software utilizing the camera all i get is big asf file created with "WMVideo9 Encoder". no chance to select "mp4 encoder".
any ideas?

regards
cosmos

Even I had the same problem I tried to see the video on real player and had no sound. Then i played the same video on VLC media player and I can hear the sound. Try the same video in different players. This is on my computer not on phone.

This is a decent site to take the mp4 and convert it to a different format. You could then move it to another program and play with it (i.e. once it's an avi).
